Well, I was skeptical about using this method, but my curiosity(and gunked up 510) won out. It worked like a charm, and I didn't pop the coil. I did follow with a hot water rinse to get out any ash that may have been hanging around in there(this is a fully assembled atty with wick and bridge still intact). I then gave the atty a second dry burn, followed by a cheap vodka flush. I am now happily dripping and getting loads of vapor and flavor out of it. Very nice! Thanks, damulta:)
I didn't exaggerate it as much as you did, but hell I got an atty back to normal after it tasting like a piece of shit that'd been decomposing for months.
dont so this guys.. you will destroy your atty/coil doing it that long... First soak your atty in alcohol, then dry burn for 5 seconds max at a time doing that 5-6 times
I was doing this for ages and the smoke would never clear, but dripped on the wick 5 times, loaded the cart and I have no harsh taste/burn anymore which i have put up with for days lol... new to this, great, simple vid, thanks
You should blow into the top part of your atty first the get the juice out then dry burn for 3-5 seconds on LR and 8-10 seconds on standard and repeat 2-3 times until you smell metal. I usually do that once a day with an atty or when I want to switch flavors.
Also if you get a burnt wick just take it out. Removing the wick and bridge from your atty=MUCH better tasting juice. I wouldn't recommend taking the bridge out if you're going over 3.7 volts.
Thanks for making this video damulta! :D I have a question, I accidentally sat on battery and burn dried it maybe way too much. Now when I push the button it turns red immediately and it stinks... does that mean that I RIP'd my atty? I mean, it "works" it's just "too potent" now lol :) Any idea of what just happened to it? :s Have a great weekend!
@damulta OMGosh, thank u so much!! Your advice worked! lol I thought it was some kind of short circuit... well I have so much to learn. So far Im loving these apparatuses.
Damn dude, that's a crazy burn! Great video though, I like it! I got one of these from NHaler and within minutes it melted the end of my cart which is OK 'cause I just trimmed it back and just use it for dripping but what I wanna know is did it melt your carts? Did it melt your drip tip from NHaler? Keep up the good work!
LMFAO - i want to start ordering that brand of atomizer. Your vids are awesome compared to all the paid reviews I see on here. Keep up the good work.
Had some old 510 atty's that had lost their life so to say, I used your method, and guess what, they are running like new again, thanks, just have to be careful not to over do it after you see them firing up red again. GREAT VIDEO, KEEP THEM COMING!
wow..i've never seen anyone cook it that long!!....doesn't that burn the thread inside?..i usually end up pulling it out anway, no matter how wet I try to keep the atty, it always ends up melting and giving that burned tatse..

It makes sense what you're saying... but, wouldn't it also burn out the atty faster?

@signonata
Just flood the atty. Get it really wet, and then you should be good to go after that:)

this worked like a charm, just make sure to not let it go more than a second or two when it gets red
juices were tasting brand new again

Wouldn't dry burning just induce overheating of the wick creating that blackness that RIP's attys? I use steam then an air compressor.
LynchTheGrynch 1 year ago
Forgot to mention that you should blow these out first and it will speed this up alot more. Or just vape it till it's ready for fluid, then dry burn.

I never really have the problem of burring the wick giving it a forever burnt taste.
I've cooked other 510 atomizers way longer than that. hehe
