9:02 represents one of the most beautiful moments of the story. Reese would later say that he would take out this picture, that John once gave him, and wonder what Sarah was thinking about when it was taken. At the end of the film, she is leaving a message for John on a tape recorder and says of Reese "In the time we had, we loved a lifetime" and then the picture is taken. So we see now that in this captured moment Reese reflects upon, she was thinking of him. A beautiful story.

@GreenDub1000 Just as you said you have part of the answers also just a possible theory but from another site I looked up since this terminator was one of the early models it had poor regenerative capabilities & also something to do with the internal heating so open wounds combined with heat not a good thing. Ever passed by a road kill on a hot day in Texas? Just a theory could be wrong. Do gotta admit the zombie look gives it a more creepy look

They're tired, starving, and desperate.

They should've reinforce the entrance with a checkpoint and put more turrets//dogs/defenses to check each one by armed guards. So even if it was a Terminator it wouldn't massacre the whole bunker. Can't believe it had that much time to push aside everyone, throw off the disguise, pull out the gun, and start shooting everything and no one was able to shoot it.

Scale wouldn't work, even if you found one. And the T-800 is about 500lbs
