I know I saw this when it aired but can't recall the show. Was is SNL? Midnight Special? This was such an exiting time to be a Todd Fan, living on LI, seeing him in Central Park, Port Washington Theater, Chance in Poughkeepsie, Northern Lights, etc. Seeing Murph and the Nexus gang on line no matter what time you show up. - Sorry, I drifted there, oh yeah, Where was this videotaped?- Jack from Long Island, NY
Been Following Todd for almost 40 years. The theme of this song reminds me of the Nicole Nordeman song "Wide Eyed", give it a listen you won't be disappointed.
more then 30 years ago, put into words in a way no singer songwriter could today cuz they lack two things now adays: compassion and empathy. todat they only care about their big break and corresponding bankaccount, sad enough but tipycall for the dimise of the usa
If only he still made songs like this...I haven't heard a Todd album I've really liked since "2nd Wind," and the last one I could barely listen to was "One Last Year."
Ah, I could say a lot, but I will just say that Todd can tear your heart in two... The plight of the mentally ill is a hugely misunderstood issue these days. I had better be quiet now.

Todd juggling his solo material ( such as this piece) with Utopia in the late 70s. Most defintely the strongest time of his musical career.

I like how you put this - it may be his most underrated song.

It is so cool that so many of Todd's songs written so long ago still have so much meaning today ....
