  • ALSO, when ever i go over seas everyone expects me to speak their language and gets passive aggressive if i dont. (aka not telling me where the bathroom is, even though they speak english)

  • "Americans are brainwashed into believing that America is the best place to be"

In my opinion that same thing happens here in Australia.

But once again you don't need to leave the country to experience something different either I suppose.

  • so why are you in taiwan?

  • i dont make enough to travel far lol

  • I've seen most of Asia and I've lived in Japan for three years. All I can say is I want to go back to Texas where things make sense and half my hobbies aren't illegal. But no one ever thinks I'm American here until I start talking.....must be the tan.

  • Very true, us Americans are very brainwashed its creepy if you think about it. Once I move out I plan on traveling a lot, I haven't been more than 5 hours away from where I live, it's actually quite depressing... America is a good country, but definitely not the best like most people think it is, there is soooooo many things wrong with this country I don't even want to start talking about it...

  • Our Governnment has made it too hard to leave the country, also it is hard to get back in to america once you have left. Most Americans do not like the inconvenience of world travel especially when we have everything in America that EVERY other country has, and in most cases it is way better. I am sure if things were not the way they are, more Americans would travel.

  • And if you're Asian from Korea, Vietnam, Japan, etc. and go to Western countries, they assume you are Chinese.

  • @mermaidlovesmondays This is SO true!!! I lived in Japan and learned to speak Japanese and even my close friends and family say that I lived in China and speak Chinese. WTF!!! smh

  • Canada population is like prob 32 million now. Canada rocks!

  • Most North Americans don't wear fanny packs because they have a nickname here called "Fagbags". So obviously no one wants to be caught wearing a fagbag.

  • Reminds me of a trick question i played on lot's of US folks.

Who is the president of America?

    .

    ..

    Obama!

    .

    ..

No dipshit, America doesn't have one, Obama is president of the U.S.A

Think about it people XD (yeah lame as hell right ^_^)

  • I don't travel because I'm too poor lol. Traveling is expensive!

  • As a Canadian who lived in the USA for 15 years over the last 40 years I don't think they are cowards, but they are uneducated especially with respect to geography. My guess is that they don't travel because they don't even know that there IS a world outside of the USA. Don't forget they learn geography by which country they happen to be bombing at the time. Ask any American about Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, or Afghanistan and they know, the rest of the world they don't, they haven't bombed it yet.

  • @SimXLive I beg to differ, ass hole

  • I grew up like your kid, speaking two languages every day, but that's not uncommon in Canada at least where I am. But it is a proven fact that children who learn two languages before the age of reason (7 years old) with almost universally go on to higher learning in adult life. So good for you. BTW, a third language or music added to the mix makes it even better. Consider piano lessons starting at age 3.

  • what camera are you using?

  • Love the video man. You're spot-on about some reasons why Americans don't travel(not the coward part). The lot of us are brainwashed and it's sad really, also like you said, our country really is vast. I would love to go overseas, but right now just don't have the funds or the time to take off of work. I do live close enough to visit BC, Canada often though! Beautiful country.

  • Comment removed

  • First off comparing two countries not even closely in size is bs.. We have more people so sure going to have more people out of work... We have free healthcare too its called medicade and Americans do travel more than most countries. first off we have more places here than most countries.. islands, forests, grand canyon. NY LA NO etc. when we do leave most go Europe or japan.. not many ask about twain unless there is fam history.

  • Interesting subjects brought up in a very light-hearted manner. First, my hat down to you for exploring - I did very similar culture experience in Japan for 3 years, it was awesome. Now, I do agree that America is very vast, and folks are little reluctant leaving the safety of American legal system for the unknown. On the flip side - there is quite a few of us who have the spirit and means to adventure once in a while.... its not that bad out there folks, could be best experience ever!

  • @thomson486 Hey, we gotta do what we gotta do lol spread the seed!

  • Also there are only certain countries I plan to visit in my life, simply because i'm not interested in visiting places like Taiwan, or China. I plan to try a visit Japan again, then I plan to visit Several countries in Europe, (not France, they're douchebags.) Jamaica, and then several Central and South America countries.

  • I'm American, and I can tell you the reason we don't travel is not because we are cowards, we are far from it. The reason is that about 60% of us are fatass, uneducated fucks that sit and watch tv all day then continue this cycle by having 10 kids, and feeding them nothing but Mcdonalds. I on the other hand am a young fit American, who LOVES adventure. I plan to go skydiving soon, and had recently paid for a trip to Japan, but just a month before departure they had all that crap happen. :(

  • i would have subscribed but you had to bring politics and nationalism into it. leave shit like that out if your making motorcycle videos dumb ass.

  • why do you wait for everyone to go, then over take them, crossing double lines in the proses ??

    dont understand

  • obviously america has more ppl than canada. canadas fucking freezing

  • @thomson486 Dude what are you talking about. The schools in America constantly discuss other countries, cultures, etc. Anyways this was a stupid video.

  • its like you said america has so many different parts to it so we tend not to leave. if we want something new move to another state rather a new country.

  • "so i take it back youre not cowards.... youre just lazy" lold so hard forced my lazy hand in giving thumbs up and subscribing

  • you fucked a chinese woman in the pussy and 9 months later you stole her baby

  • This is by far the worst video ever posted on the internet!! This guy is a complete moron!! Hopefully he has killed himself by now.

  • super slow riders

  • @thomson486 sry but the U.S. is the best and so is our military so fuck the rest of the world cus the US is where its at

  • @shadow0imposter you don't even have free health care in u.s and thats is a essential for basic need of a human life shut the hell up U S A

  • @tochjo772 that's all you can come up with? we don't have free health care XD your country needs better schools because you obviously don't know how to put a sentence together!

  • @shadow0imposter dude~ in my counrty i don't have to ever worry about randomly getting shot one day :) and all citizens gat free " health care " and the girls are also hot ~ god blass my country :) lol

  • @tochjo772 my point proven; better schools: gat,blass- every country has problems, and if every girl in your country is hot then tell me what country you live in cause im booking a plane ticket XD

  • lets not 4get it was the chinese who willingly came here for the work and most places in the world are shit holes so we dont wanna travel

  • what do you do when you ride with the group? just ride around the town and return and go home? or do you go some specific place and have a bbq or something like that?

  • I'm an American. Only reason I haven't left yet is because I can't afford it yet. I'll probably wait until I finish University before leaving.

  • i want to move out of america but i'm too young too. in my opinion america does alot of stupid things.lol

  • Lovin the Rabmlings...the roads look prety damn good too... Nice and twisty!

  • everyone wants to kidnap americans if we're in their country..

  • nice vid

  • me and my friend are going to be moving to japan lol were adventerous but we both dont really like america much haha. btw the ad i had for this video involved huge portions of food??? lol so american

  • Americans are too poor the travel out of country

going to the uk or british and buying breakfast

is like $60 usd for some s***y eggs and tost

  • @TheRJMortimer i dont know what part of england you went to lol even london is no where near as expensevie as that

  • @glicher100

it was a long time ago i guss lol

  • I live in Indonesia, and it's true--most people will assume that a white guy is American. And yes, most white guys over here don't seem to be American and even then, you can usually tell an American a mile away.

  • As an American, I do sort of agree with you that some Americans are really brainwashed into thinking it's the best country in the world. Also, most of my friends would only ever want to travel to Australia or Britain, because they don't want to learn a new language. Most of my friends also ask me really silly questions about Taiwan, almost as they think it's inhabitable by Americans. A lot of them think Taiwanese people wash their clothes in the rivers etc.

  • also Americans are broke and have no money to travel

  • 4lbs lighter? I know the feeling..

  • @renegadeskinninja Death Valley to Alaska...

  • @riley191919 those are the most extreme possible temperatures in those places and they can easily be avoided if you go at the right time of the year. i`v been to death valley before and it was around 70-60 degrees every day for the week i was there. i also know that in summer the average temperature in Alaska is around 60 degrees.

  • @renegadeskinninja If you refer to my original comment, I said that you can reach either location. I didn't say if you walked outside, you would spontaneously burst into flame and, later that night, freeze into a block of ice while traveling through Boston. This video is about travel, and the United States has every major climate type available. Also, giving winter temperatures for the Death Valley and summer temperatures for Alaska was a poor attempt at debunking my argument.

  • @riley191919 and giving literally record braking temperatures for those places was a poor attempt at proving yours. what we should be comparing is average temperatures year round and at that u.s isn't really that extreme. by the way, am i arguing for the Canadians?

  • Err..because they have almost no holidays? I think that has something to do with it, they have to work too much.: )

  • its not fear...i can't Conceal Carry anywhere except america :)

  • WOW Like you said in the video you just chatting and so many people need to get on there podiums and get all serious. Great Vids man. Makes me want to learn to ride. Be safe

  • bro i think u need to d a vidio on how u did the camra in your helmet cos i wouldent mind doing what u do :)

  • Ding ding ding!! you got it b/c America is so vast and yes everyone here does not care about canada lol.

  • Haha, I get the impression you were too much of a coward to get with anyone in your country, so you had to run off to Taiwan and fuck some poor submissive Asian. Can you tell me why Canadians so obsessed with the USA? We seriously don't give a fuck about Canada. It's just not on our radar. I honestly wouldn't even be thinking about this right now had I not stumbled upon your racism video. I live in Michigan and I've been asked the stupidest fucking questions by douchey Canadians who visit here.

  • Being American, My most concern is being a target as we interfere with many countries politics,

Now Taiwan, I would not have an issue with. I had Asian roommates back in college. Two of them from Taiwan and the other was from Hung Kong.

Been to Canada, England, Israel, Mexico, Bahama's and all over the Caribbean. Because of my countries politics, Cuba is out. I would be thrown in jail if caught going.

So I do travel and enjoy it as well.

  • Ive wanted to go to Japan since i was 9 and i still want to but (money, tsunami, and language) are keeping that from happening xD

  • I am American and I have traveled to many different parts of the world, not asia yet however. I think there is to much of a language gap to really enjoy ones self if you only speak english. I would not be able to communicate with anyone, whereas in europe there is always someone who speaks english it seems. I would take time to learn chinese, but from what I understand its a hard language to learn and all the tools available for learning are only going to teach you the basics.

  • funny that you mentioned texas, oklahoma and north dakota as US diversities in nature, as those states are very similar. atleast TX and OK, you wont know the difference

  • this country had beautiful road. centerline is orange yellow is more safety to drive.

  • im gonna move to canada someday :C

  • Oh yeah he said Oklahoma

  • Certain parts of Taiwan look like Mexico.

  • I hate to bring it up as a fellow countryman, but the Canadian transcontinental railroad was built similarly to the US railroads. IE. with lots of Chinese labour, who did the hardest and most dangerous parts of the work. The saying that for every mile of Canadian railway track a Chinese who gave his life, probably holds true, yet it averages out the losses, because by far the heaviest toll exacted through the Rockies, where tunnels had to be dug or blasted.

  • @wotan20 Fair enough, but keep in mind that my comment wasn't serious to begin with. The same probably holds true for America 1 life for each mile. And America probably has thousands more miles of train tracks.

  • @13mordeth I'm guessing it was 2-3 lives per mile...

  • @13mordeth Are you talking about people from United States of America or people from the whole continent?

  • @wotan20 What railroads are you talking about?

  • Yeah there's a ton of diversity in climates/people in America. Traveling abroad is super expensive, which probably has a lot to do with it also.

  • Traveling has slowly disappeared from our budgets in America. I just don't ever put aside money for it.

  • I See your point. But there are also other people that hate america too. I wouldn't be the first one to judge but I think you are stereotyping. I cant wait the get the hell out of this fucking country. Good riddance.

  • i really wish i could afford to travel to another country. two places i really would love to go is prauge to visit my friend ondrej and also to australia.

  • @lonelykatana I mean, dont get me wrong, id take free health care if I trusted the gov to provide good health care, but thats just it, the U.S gov is corrupt and filled with liars.

  • haha we americans are lazy fucks, aint gonna lie. fatest country on earth. sure we'll claim the name. but not all americans are like that ha. i for one, would love to go to another country. maybe even live in another country.

  • Why don't American's travel? Well some of us are lazy as fuck, look how fuckin fat Americans are, it's sad to be honest. blah. I for one like to be out and a bout, plus I don't even eat a whole lot.

  • I definitely rock a fannie pack from time to time. I rocked one when i went to spain, france, netherlands, and morocco.

  • Comment removed

  • @lonelykatana Because hen I pay for it ,I know exactly that when I walk into that hospital im getting the best.

And besides, I get mine work provided so fuck you, get a better employer.

  • Been to Canada a few times to see relatives when i was younger but everyone spoke french so communication for me was difficult but other then going to Canada id like to go to Russia, London and another part of Canada where they speak english

  • The Canadian / American comparison is legit but it kind of annoys me when Europeans say Americans are not worldly. The thing is, its very easy to travel to different countries when you are in Europe due to the proximity and low travel cost. Going to different countries within Europe is like going to different states in the US in terms of distance. Most Americans have been to at least 5 states other than the one they live in.

  • Can I just pick at knits for a minute?

The United States is IN America, it is NOT ITSELF America. Beyond that Mordeth13, you also would be "American" for living in "North America" the CONTINENT! Now consider, SOUTH AMERICA. Which one are you talking about?

I know the demonym to call someone from the US is that they are "American." Please do not mix up the demonym and the country with the continent.

    Thank you.

  • @13mordeth Oh, Im sorry, I didn't watch it to the end!

I wrote that comment late at night too, when I tend to get angry for bad reasons.

    Once again, Sorry D'8...

  • Comment removed

  • it's true that Americans are afraid to leave because our government is constantly infusing fear to the public.

And also because that we are too materialistic.

  • I disagree with your assertion that Americans are less adventurous.

Higher unemployment and lower average pay both reduce the size of the "traveling class", and coupled with a lot of attractive and less expensive domestic destinations, this reduced the number of Americans traveling abroad. Also it's a pain to get more than 2 weeks off work here, my boss looked at me like I was crazy for asking for 3.

I'm surprised you're always amused to be American. I always get people who think I'm Canadian!

  • Americans are Depressed

  • Half the people in America near me are illegals :/ And I've always dreamed of going on vacation over seas but I'm just another poor asshole who can't even go on a vacation out of state.

  • The average American is so in debt that they can't afford a vacation. And if they do vacate, most people choose Cancun or Hawaii.

  • Are schools don't inspire creative thought and do not give any reason for us to really find any interest in anywhere outside our own LITTLE country. We are not the largest by mass nor the largest by population. We never have been. We are the ones that sought refuge from whatever persecution we were born into. If we ourselves did not, someone in our family did. People born into their own persecution from where ever they were so unfortunate. We have become the largest in creative thought or were.

  • Americans don't really see the point in traveling considering everything you could ever want/experience is right in America. It has nothing to do with laziness

(a common stereotype). Mainly it's the issue of money & just having everything catered to us. Oh, not to mention there's nearly a million Canadians in my state of California. That alone has to tell you something aboot Canada, eh?

  • I totally agree with you Mordeth, I see myself as different then others in America.

I decided that after i finish my service in the U.S. Army i'm getting the fuck out of America.

  • the reason canada is rated higher is because in canada weed has been DECRIMINALIZED lol

  • @Jnymack123 whoa you watched the video well done!

  • Just got back from Sweden!! (I'm English)

  • It's a pain in the ass to travel abroad from the U.S...at least where I live. It's a 3-4 hour flight to either coast, then another 10+ hour flight wherever else you're going. To Taiwan my choices are to fly directly to Tokyo Narita which is 13 hours, plus a 4-6 hour layover, then another 4 hours to Taiwan. Or I can fly 3-4 hours to the west coast, 2-4 hour layover, then another 13 hours to Taiwan... Honestly that's what hinders my travel plans...ultimately you are right...it is the laziness.

  • @sm753 Compare that to another country in Europe or Asia where you can be in at least 4-5 different countries and all it takes is 1 3-4 hour flight. In regards, to the Canada thing, people feel free to correct me, I've heard from relatives living in Canada that it's fairly difficult to find a good job there, maybe that's why people are leaving.

  • it's money in my case, can't afford the cost to travel overseas.. plus the time to take off work.. don't get me wrong, i've been to london, beijing, moscow, korea, and in the fall to panama. We do travel but yeah I think you got it with people traveling within the country.. when you have so many different cities to go to, it's definitely easier to travel domestically.

  • we are lazy!

  • In England we call fanny packs 'bum bags' and a fanny is a slang term for a woman's genitalia, whereas here in the States a fanny is a bum/ass.

It actually makes me laugh from time to time. (Because I find stuff like that funny...)

  • @slytherinsheirx yeh in australia we say bum bags aswell and when americans say fanny it makes me laugh because i think of a vagina lol

  • @slytherinsheirx Same here in Australia.

  • @willemschra That's his kid...

  • The majority of White people that visit England and Canadian, Australian or European. I rarely meet an American over here. But when you do you know you have. They're SO loud!!

  • Yeah, the states can vary culturally across so it can be challenging to just leave the country but i think it's cuz we're isolated by the media into mostly U.S. affairs.

I remember visiting family in Philippines watching TV and was so pleased at seeing internationally programming & news all over the place, WTF. After eventually finishing school & hopefully travelling the world, I'll still come back to America for family & inner circle friends & stuff ;].

  • I chuckled at the " Americans are brainwashed to think America is the best place" that was a awesome joke

but I do agree with your lazy comment :p

  • I would love to leave America and live in another country for a while. But that requires money, a job, and a passport that is willing to allow me to work and live at said country.

Not to mention that I would love to learn the language of the place I am willing to live at for the time.

    Language, money, job, passport.

How can I put this, American has a bad rap when it comes to going to other countries. Often times, it is better to say that you are from Canada instead of America. XP

  • @takerukari

I've heard that said, hypothetically. But most who actually travel don't feel being from America hurts the impression they leave. Most opinions regarding America are based on American politics, as well as an arms length judgmental stance that's easy to take. But in person? Americans are like anyone else, someone from another Country interprets this without language.

  • @takerukari just do it and follow your dream. you can sit around forever waiting for things to be "perfect" or just go for it. trust me, you'll live, the absolute worst that'll happen is you return home (with a new perspective and a ton of experience).

even if you are completely broke the american embassy will give you money to go home.

  • @midnightfapper

I would probably be getting a degree first before I can get out. Supposedly... teaching English is one of the easiest paths. *points at m13*

  • @takerukari if that doesn't work out, just sell your body to well monied widows ;)

  • its true but not even from state to state if you drive to a different city its different

  • It's always been germans for me. Seems like they are everywhere l I go internationally. Yeah, we are scared to travel. It's a shame. About the quality of life thing. America's quality of life is the best, in a way. America is a very sink or swim place. You are either upper class or barely squeaking by, especially now. It's part of the capitalist risktaking lifestyle that is America. It's something I love and hate about my country. Plus, we don't get a paid month off a year very often. I do.

  • canada also has higher racial discrimination than other countries.. (and ontario higher than other provinces)... my dad worked as professor at university in japan but as soon as we immigrated here to this god damned iceland... he was forced to work at mcdonalds because no other places accepted him (either because he didn't speak english or he was 'overqualified')

....okay english part? kinda understandable... but 'overqualified'? WTF..

p.s. i AM canadian citizen and i AM in Toronto...

  • @driftworld86

.. is that via your anecdotal angst? or do you have some statistics?

Which isn't to say discrimination doesn't exist. But, as your claim to "iceland" is exaggeration, I too assume your racial discrimination claim follows a similar trend.

  • Lol I prefered the previous title

  • To all Americans: Buy silver man!! Our dollar will be dead before 2013!! We'll be walking into stores with cartloads of cash to buy a loaf of bread!

  • i got a feeling that mordeth was making the noises at the very end and not his kid

  • As an American I can say two things. First, I am to busy paying for the rich peoples mistakes, to afford to travel.

Secondly to be 100% truthful, I am ashamed to come from this war mongering, Drama addicted, fowl mouthed, selfish country.

I was once told I looked like a foreigner, by a foreigner. Probably the greatest compliment I ever received. Proud to be me!

  • @MrAdamseye You're ashamed? Then why stay?

  • @Aggiesgigem Because the people here make me look so good, where else could I find such glory?

  • I'd guess a lot of Americans traveling overseas will say they're Canadians since an American on vacation probably wants to have a good time and not spend time explaining they didn't vote for George W. Bush or whatever the latest thing against Americans is.

  • @bc1969214 they do it bc almost every single other country thinks lowly of Americans, or that later they might get robbed, or whatever.

  • You know a video is good when it starts with "I took a dump"

  • @chegu071 this was a four pounder, so it's one of those things worth sharing. :)

  • Gesus, you have a fannypack too? Edit for first comment: replace "American" by "Northern American"

  • Sweeping generalizations can easily offend. I'd stay away from using them.

  • I hate American tourists, they are fat, wear red or otherwise bright T-shirts and fannypacks, shorts (sometimes colourful), trucker caps, and worst of all they have terrible American accents, they talk very loudly and it sounds exaggerated and sensationalist. Also, they have terrible footwear.

  • @GodOfTheInternets sounds like a typical 50+ year old American Tourist, usually have enough money to travel in the first place

  • At least we can left turn is the US. :)

  • hahahha america Suc_ks

    FOCk america

  • @theimacduderox Why do we suck?

  • damn can-nadian makin fun of us uhmericans

but seriously he is right if you dont like where you live just move a few states over. wanna visit mexico? go to texas! love the snow? head north. imo some people want to explore and some just dont.

  • in my experience, people say other countries are better but i was recently went to london and it was nice but i wouldnt live there. good for a visit but not to live. honestly felt like i was in a third world country and they are supposed to be a modern country.our worst standard of living in america seems like it better than most other countries and i have been to many other countries. not saying we are the best but from my experience i would rather live here than anywhere else.

  • @egkm6 Not sure what part of London you were in, but it is nothing like a 3rd world country. Been to London several times, and it is far easier to get around than any place I've been to in the US. Plus plenty to do there, most of which is free or reasonably priced.

  • @egkm6 - "in your experience"...I guess that's pretty limited, as otherwise you would never suggest that America's worst is better than most other countries' best. Don't you read your own press? There are areas of the States that are so poor and run down, it is life threatening to go into them (eg parts of LA or Miami). there are cities that are dead (Detroit). Even in your rich cities, you can't miss all the homeless... I'm glad you're happy, but you are poorly informed.

  • @egkm6 see this is why reading is fundamental. i NEVER said our worst is better than their best. i said our standard for poor people is still better than poor people in other countries and i know because my parents are from the caribbean and i am from new york so i am no stranger to cultural diversity. poor over here is no where near as bad as poor in most not all other countries. there are a lot of poor people here that dont realize we are spoiled and still better off than most other countries

  • @egkm6

An important difference is that you are getting poorer, while many of those other Countries are increasing the quality of life for many of their citizens.

  • @egkm6 - you need to re-read your own comments: calling London a third world country is way off the intelligence chart (and not in a positive sense)

  • @marpetpet i said it felt like a third world country not that it was. you must be from London to take it so personally. people say negative things about the US all the time and most of us dont care.

  • From CNN: Tourism experts and avid travelers attribute Americans' lack of interest in international travel to a few key factors, including: the United States' own rich cultural and geographic diversity, an American skepticism and/or ignorance about international destinations, a work culture that prevents Americans from taking long vacations abroad and the prohibitive cost and logistics of going overseas.

  • I agree with what you say at around 6:50. I'm from Belgium and there are states which are tripple the size of Belgium. So you can compare states the countries in my opinion. I mean, if I jump into my car and start driving for 1-2 hours, I can reach Holland, Germany, Luxembourg and France. But then again, that's the beauty of living in Europe. There are a lot of countries and cultures around you :)

  • male purse 0:17

  • I'll have you know that I'm American and I'm the laziest mofo on the planet...along with my other 300-500 million brethren.

  • mordeth i`m from romania and my country is shit from any angle the state and health care and all payment is shit here do you think i could manage in canada ? and like a foreigner how would i bee looked at ? thx for the response

  • glad you made it a toilet ^^

  • A lot of American tourists are here in Hawaii. Sad to say a big number of them are so obnoxious and overweight that I actually hope they don't travel overseas and embarrass us, lol. I've travelled to Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and each place was an eye opening experience. Everyone should experience travel. It gives one a lot more respect for those that have to overcome language and cultural barriers to live outside their home country.

  • @RkDinc The same experience? lol. I'd say that's a little narrow minded but I don't want to be rude. Are you telling me I could have the same experience of going to let's say, see Tibet but in the comfort of the US? Common.....

  • What about Hawai'i as the U.S.? I grew up there and after being in Houston, Florida, and now Victoria, I definitely want to move back at some point.

  • Your sun is adorable. you may be very proud of him

  • Generalization and stereotypes suck for the rest of us Americans.
