Acceptable forms of armor = leather jacket/pants, although it doesn't actually protect you from the bite itself, it is extremely hard to bite THROUGH so you have a better chance of avoiding being infected. However, if it's hot and sunny, then its not the best idea to be wearing heavy leather since it does get rather hot in a leather jacket, especially if you're gonna be running all day and the last thing you need in a zombie outbreak is heat stroke.

you kill as many as you can with your Rifle at a distance - i know its slow but a high calabra weapon like a rifle will take out more brain (diffrent parts of the brain could keep the zombie active even if you get a headshot) 2 pistols - headshots only to conserve ammo but make sure there dead spear - keep at a distance till there down for the count. standard edition serated army survival knife - can carry basic supplies plus finish stuff off. also id carry adrenalin. that stuff will keep u up

Plate mail?!?! What idiot wears plate mail in an zombie apocalypse? If you go for armor use something like kevlar or plasma shields like halo or power armor like fallout. About swords though I would carry knives and sword several so they can be thrown and guns only work to your advantage when they don't attract more zombies then your have ammo. Remember a silenced weapon will never hurt ratenkrieg (I know I spelled that wrong)

@notanotherCoDfan I don't think that its totally worthless. Well it depends on zombie type, if they are slow and you have an escape plan, you can still set them on fire and run away. If they are aren't slow like in 28 days/weeks later-flamethrower is really not a good choice. That's my opinion :)
