@WhisperCrayon Thank you! I worry that you might be giving me too much credit for intelligence--I have done a lot of reading and have had an interest in history since childhood. As for professions, I've done many things, mostly in the educational field (being a student, teaching).
@OhManTFE Hi OMTFE. Thank you very much for the comment, and I know you're a fan of binaural. In truth, you can find a decent amount of it (or of 3-D or holophonic recordings) on youtube. There's not always a reason for surround-sound, though--as when just whispering about something, as in this video. Normally, you wouldn't have someone who was talking to you walk around you unless you were getting your hair cut or having a massage. SOUNDsculptures has a lot of it. Best to you.
