  • @GoldenRatio2 if your done upload it :D

  • try to record some tracks from Paracletus :)))

  • Nice LP in the back

  • nice cover dude!!! keep up the good work!

  • Favorite DSO riff at :47

  • great, great, great!"!!!

  • I think this is a great vid because it is accurate. Do a kenose one man. Another guy tried to do a kenose vid, points for trying but most of the riffs are way off and it's a bit disrespectful.

  • Very accurate cover. Well done!

  • Sooo, when can we see you play Paracletus? ; )

  • @GoldenRatio2 I would love to learn how to play some DsO. But I can hardly take out Smoke on the water :P Do you have any guitar tabs for DsO? If you do, it would be nice to see them and try to learn them.

  • @Dummertrummer stick to drums buddy, you need years of trem picking and fast chord change experience to be able to play DSO, even SMRC.

  • @chepe371 I play both. Drums is my first instrument. I´m not in the same level on guitar, but I write music with it etc. I can handle tremolo picking, but as you can hear there´s alot of disharmonic chords in DsO´s music, and really fast chord changes (as you said). But tabs would be great to practice with. To get use to the chords and practicing the chord changes.

  • @Dummertrummer check out 911tabs(dot)com if you use GuitarPro you can find some decent SMRC tabs.

  • Shweet

  • respect !

    cheers.

  • Niice, that's quite a bit to pick out by ear.

  • I´m surprised that you could learn the riffs that good! There is so much gain on the album, and really fast riffs and small details. But you did a great job!

  • dude...that's a serious work you've done there...Congrats and waiting to see another work on D.O.

    Cheers!

  • nICEL Y DoNe

  • hats off to you for even attempting this, well done. DSO has no peer.

  • great job bro. I'm sure you're enjoying Paracletus as much as I am.

  • @virabhadra: Indeed! The trilogy has come to an end, and what an ending it is!

  • awesome cover dude, i wish i could play like this, keep up the good work!

  • respect man.....i love this band

  • Also, I would love to see you complete the leadwork in Blessed Are the Dead, always wondered how that was played.

  • @GoldenRatio2 One's thing for sure, it will take a hell of a lot of practice. It's just something to work on for the future, i'm busy with school. Someday I hope to get it, blastbeats can get fucking tiring, especially when you have to throw in such hyperspeed(and technical) fills.

  • I dont see how making a cover of DSO is a stupid thing. It's very well played actually

  • Oh and great job by the way

  • Who would like a drum cover of The Shrine of Mad Laughter? This is something i've contemplated doing for a while now, but i'm not sure if I have the ability/patience/time.

  • nice work, man

though i agree with some of the comments regarding reinterpretation of DSO, this is awesome, great work

    keep it up,

heck i'll even help sigilumsanguis with the order heh

  • where's carnal malefactor coverings?))

  • @unhalowedd If theres one song on this album that must remain untouched, that would be it. I'm glad he didn't do anything from Carnal Malefactor, even though it's easily my favorite DsO song.

  • If you play FAS in it's entirety, I will buy you a russian mail-order bride of your choosing. Good stuff here.

  • @sigilumsanguis: You may just have yourself a deal there...

  • Probably the only black metal band that I find technically and musically intriguing.

  • @soullessSiIence Then you'd also definitely like Blut Aus Nord

  • Excellent playing! It seems like you nailed those riffs. Really clean too. Like to see more of some of the songs if you ever get around to it.

  • Well done! I would be possible that you write down some of these songs on tabs please?? thanks

  • Damn, I've been working on a couple songs from this album and I can really appreciate how difficult they are. Did you learn them all by ear? It's hard for me to pick out a lot of it with the weird voicings they use.

  • @GoldenRatio2 The part you included would be perfect!

    Awesome "cover" btw

    Thanks, M.W.

  • can you give me tabs for sola fide 1?

  • great job dude, the tapping part killed me

  • gj +rep

  • @GoldenRatio meant you**** ;D

  • hey buddy good video. seems more complete then ur last one. I'm glad you made the video. I think it's great because you do it justice. Your worthy of playing it. Quite a few riffs on this album just are a head fuck to work out. well done. Like the bit at 4:05 and with the blackening out. nice effect.

  • i redid ur last video. nice.

  • What's the tuning in?

  • Every track on the album is in standard tuning.

  • damn, how can such glorious music be perverted by reinterpreting it!? no offence, I hope you get my point..

still thats probably the best video released on youtube so far! I just set up an account to comment on it.

will you be doing more of DSO? Kenose would be great!

  • @xeperadinfinitum: Yes, I completely get your point - no offence taken whatsoever! Making this video was a stupid thing to do but hey, I guess that says alot about me...

And no, I doubt I will attempt making a video showing Kenose, 'Fas...' or 'Chaining...' simply because the guitar parts are extremely difficult to work out by ear due to their complexity. Also, there's the simple fact that the level of musicianship on said releases is beyond me - and probably always will be!

  • @GoldenRatio if u can listen out Si Monumentum by ear, you can probably do the others as well. i dont know what it is about that album, but it has some of the weirdest sounding chords ive heard

  • Comment removed

  • @GoldenRatio2 i dont blame you. the songs on every DSO album after SMR,C do sound quite technical and have some very weird sounding chords. like you can tell what overall pitch they are, but they have a very odd sound to them. even looking at a tab wouldnt really help, they'd be so simplistic & searching would be a waste of time. speaking of which, i searched DSO up on 911 tabs, barely any results and the only decent one was Sola Fide I. overall, most people dont know wtf Deathspell Omega's doing

  • @xeperadinfinitum This would only be an issue if he didn't completely nail it.
