Holy Fuck! I just thought of something at school. The game actaully implies all of this. Adam and Megan have sex before the game starts and then for 6 months, you recover from augmentation. Then, you play as adam for 3 months and at the end. It hints that the baby is JC Denton or whatever the sequel's protagonist's name is.

This sounds stupid, but I kinda wish we'd seen more of Adam in the game with his eye-lenses retracted. His HUD is displayed on his retina, so there's no practical benefit for having them deployed, and being able to see his eyes humanises him so much more than the featureless lenses. Having the frames around his eyes firmly establishes his combination with machines anyway. I know they're there to acknowledge J.C. Denton, and they're quite cool, but I think it took from the emotional scenes a bit.

His character is very closed and he's got this huge wall emotionally around himself, so it's meant to mean something when he takes them down. He hasn't really come to terms with what he's become, decided whether he can still consider himself human. But closing himself off like that kind of emphasises the inhuman side though. Also, eidos answered a question and said they were also protective, shield his eyes in combat ya know.

Only an idiot would take the biochip upgrade. Its quite clearly stated in the intro that part of the conspiracy involves a re-call after a few weeks of discomfort (the glitches in aug people) and LIMB clinics and their own biochip. If you stop to read a few emails in Tai Yong Medical then you would know it was them making the new biochip too. But if you paid attention in the intro then you would be too suspicious to get the upgraded biochip.
