Nice coil, give this a shot...try a tesla coil the secondary winding in the center of the rodin coil using the rodin coil as the primary winding just for kicks. you might want to stand back when you hit the switch? best of luck
Thanks, it's a very interesting coil design. The magnetic field is definitely superior to other coil designs. You can get the torus from the rock a stack toy which is cheap. I just need to figure out how to drive this, with A on/off B on/off consecutive. I'm only using low power, so I wonder what would 100 watts do hehe.
Might want to consider pulsing it A then B then off, A,B,off,A,B,off and so on. The 3/6/9 circuit is the space between the wires, there has to be a significance there somewhere right?
