Gold/Silver/Heartgold/Soulsilver were all based 3 years after red/blue/yellow/firered/leafgreen. The reason the radio tower is gone in firered/leafgreen and back in heartgold/soulsilver is because they are remakes of the original games and thus have the same story, with many alterations to make the gameplay easier, etc. Either way, the disappearance and reappearance of the radio tower is nothing special.
if Raticate was the one who sustained serious injuries, it would make sense why it could had pass away..
and in silver and gold versions... it could represent changes over time and is used for Nintendo to correct their mistake about making a town about death,

OMG, I've been getting cold chills the whole time I've been watching this. Nice research on this, by the way. And even the newer Pokemon games have the Poke Graveyards. Unova has Celestial Tower, Hoenn has Mount Pyre, and Sinnoh has the Lost Tower. But Lavender Town and its' Pokemon Tower have the most haunting backstories and rumors about it out of most likely any Pokemon topic. Even if the Creepypastas are fake or real, they still get you thinking.
I think were taking this the wrong end of the stick, most old games have death in it, an they are light hearted kids games. And there is always a sad moment in a game, lavender town is the sad part in pokemon, as there is people mourning in the tower, and about the tower, nintendo needed to make a eerie place to catch ghost pokemon, for example, would you expect a ghost pokemon just to appear on route 1? Thats why the tower was made.
The reason for why people come up with these theories and creepypastas is sadder than any creepypasta could be creepy. Everyone who played the old pokemon games had an emotional attachment to them. Now that pokemon's golden days are over pokemon players don't want that feeling to go away. So they create stories, and creepypastas. These let people dig up their old games and play them again. The sad truth is that your childhood always goes too quickly.

Now that I think of it, Gary could've just boxed his Raticate for something he thought was better in strength. There may not have been split evo. lines in Gen 1 but doesn't mean they didn't have the idea then. Pokemon Creepy Black is really only scary as a story. I watched someone play a ROM on YT and it was kinda lame tbh. Since FRLG was a remake of RG they wouldn't take out the Pokemon Tower and since HGSS are remakes they kept the Radio Tower from GSC in.

Missingo doesn't evolve into Khangaskan. It evolves into anything at random. The data for it is determined at 'random.' The same as it doesn't have a defined moveset, type, etc., it doesn't have a set evolution. It's pulled at random from junk data. I've seen plenty evolve into all sorts of Pokemon - Snorlax, Articuno, Spearow, etc.
Apparently there's these things called "trinotes" or something in the Lavender Town theme that caused kids to kill themselves. They are a series of high pitched notes that can cause insane amounts of pain especially to a child's ear, which is not fully developed. There are hiddeb tones in the music that apparently only children/young teens can hear. Or so I've been told...
Maybe Raticate didn't die from the fight? I subscribe to the theory it died, even if Gary/Blue seems too excited to fight you at the tower to be grieving, but it may have died for some offscreen reason that Red had no reason to learn about.
And yeah, Black's probably a fake; the Game Boy couldn't handle most of the aspects of the story.
As for the Tower, the change was story-based. A lot of things in Kanto changed in GSC; its a new story. Because FRLG were remakes, there was no 3-year time skip.
i can´t really remember but i believe on of the characters you meet in lavender in gold/silver say something about how the radio tower was built on top of a pokemon graveyard. and you have to consider that i is 3 years later, and the safari zone have closed aswell. so people might have demolished the pokemon tower due to being afraid of more ghost´s appearing. and instead a radiotower was constructed on the site.

@TheRubenkkk missingno can actually evolve into a few different types of pokemon. i know that ur talking about Blametruth and im almost positive that it cant evolve into a ditto. the white ditto is just part of his story and a vid from Haydunn. also, in order for missingno to evolve, it must be trained, not just left in the pc
I did once get the original song stuck in my head...and I did begin to feel nausia, and even a bit of a panic attack, though I've always had anxiety problems, and there's a bit of a placebo effect here (even saying that something was rumored to kill people can make people freak out a little). Its the best music in all of the pokemon games! my brother has firered, and i might get leafgreen. im also planning on getting yellow. i didnt hear the high pitched noise, but it freaked me out just as much as watching the banned porygon episode did. Interesting video,and if my memory is correct in the first pokemon games there is something else weird that isn't even related to lavender town.If you go into the museum in pewter city you will find a space shuttle titled "The commander".Pokemon is apparently supposed to be set in the not so distant future, but "the commander" crash landed into the base it was launched from in 2003.This shuttle was not in any of the remakes.
@crushedf8 It's name is "Challenger". It's an american space shuttle which was going to be the first to launch a regular person (in this case, a teacher) into space. Tragically, it blew up during launch and killed every crew member on board, including the teacher. It's considered to be one of THOSE disasters...like hurrican Katrina or 9/11 or something of that nature, so it wouldn't be in good taste to mention it's name in a kid's game.

Now that I think of it, Gary could've just boxed his Raticate for something he thought was better in strength. There may not have been split evo. lines in Gen 1 but doesn't mean they didn't have the idea then. Pokemon Creepy Black is really only scary as a story. I watched someone play a ROM on YT and it was kinda lame tbh. Since FRLG was a remake of RG they wouldn't take out the Pokemon Tower and since HGSS are remakes they kept the Radio Tower from GSC in.

@theviper378 So true, compare the original Tomb Raider to the woeful new ones. The original is fuel for brown trousers, especially on the PC version which has incredibly eerie sound effects when compared to the Playstation.

Wow this video was awesome! Thanks for clearing these up for me :) I was kinda worried about the Lavender Town Syndrome thing, even though it's still creepy in general. I think you should do something about the creepy guy who stares at you in pokemon black in Striaton City, because I'm not sure what the deal with that one is. Thanks!

Missingo doesn't evolve into Khangaskan. It evolves into anything at random. The data for it is determined at 'random.' The same as it doesn't have a defined moveset, type, etc., it doesn't have a set evolution. It's pulled at random from junk data. I've seen plenty evolve into all sorts of Pokemon - Snorlax, Articuno, Spearow, etc.

Apparently there's these things called "trinotes" or something in the Lavender Town theme that caused kids to kill themselves. They are a series of high pitched notes that can cause insane amounts of pain especially to a child's ear, which is not fully developed. There are hiddeb tones in the music that apparently only children/young teens can hear. Or so I've been told...

Maybe Raticate didn't die from the fight? I subscribe to the theory it died, even if Gary/Blue seems too excited to fight you at the tower to be grieving, but it may have died for some offscreen reason that Red had no reason to learn about.
And yeah, Black's probably a fake; the Game Boy couldn't handle most of the aspects of the story.
As for the Tower, the change was story-based. A lot of things in Kanto changed in GSC; its a new story. Because FRLG were remakes, there was no 3-year time skip.

Have to say that if you try to trade the Missingno to gold (i've tried this), then Gold will reconise the code of Missingno to Remoraid...
So it's untradeble to newer versions of pokemon

i can´t really remember but i believe on of the characters you meet in lavender in gold/silver say something about how the radio tower was built on top of a pokemon graveyard. and you have to consider that i is 3 years later, and the safari zone have closed aswell. so people might have demolished the pokemon tower due to being afraid of more ghost´s appearing. and instead a radiotower was constructed on the site.

@TheGamerFromMars of course. but on the other hand as you said. it was back in leafgreen/firered. so there is a point against that. of course it might have been a cover in order to remove it because it had no real value to the game. saying they made it up possibly, but what part. the last part was my hypothesis. not anything that i have got from any sources. but really only nintendo/gamefreak can say for sure. and they are not all that willing to say anything.

@TheRubenkkk missingno can actually evolve into a few different types of pokemon. i know that ur talking about Blametruth and im almost positive that it cant evolve into a ditto. the white ditto is just part of his story and a vid from Haydunn. also, in order for missingno to evolve, it must be trained, not just left in the pc

I did once get the original song stuck in my head...and I did begin to feel nausia, and even a bit of a panic attack, though I've always had anxiety problems, and there's a bit of a placebo effect here (even saying that something was rumored to kill people can make people freak out a little). Oh well, I'm still here aren't I!
PS, I was wearing headphones, have good hearing, and am sensitive to anxiety and noise and should be within the hearing range.

I LOVE THE ERIE MUSIC! Its the best music in all of the pokemon games! my brother has firered, and i might get leafgreen. im also planning on getting yellow. i didnt hear the high pitched noise, but it freaked me out just as much as watching the banned porygon episode did. (my brothers epileptic, and its scarry how i thought the noise caused suicide) anyway thx for the AMAZING review it makes me wanna go look up pokemon rumors now bye!

Interesting video,and if my memory is correct in the first pokemon games there is something else weird that isn't even related to lavender town.If you go into the museum in pewter city you will find a space shuttle titled "The commander".Pokemon is apparently supposed to be set in the not so distant future, but "the commander" crash landed into the base it was launched from in 2003.This shuttle was not in any of the remakes.

@crushedf8 It's name is "Challenger". It's an american space shuttle which was going to be the first to launch a regular person (in this case, a teacher) into space. Tragically, it blew up during launch and killed every crew member on board, including the teacher. It's considered to be one of THOSE disasters...like hurrican Katrina or 9/11 or something of that nature, so it wouldn't be in good taste to mention it's name in a kid's game.
