Dom, great videos. Question for you, what are your ISO, F stop, and shutter speeds when you do these effects? I am having some trouble figuring this out. Thanks!
Many thanks for the interesting tutorial, I shall be doing some messing about with the lights tomorrow. But I aint getting my top off for no 1 :-) too much man boobs
Do i have to have a white background (maybe white paper , like in professional studios ) , because you didnt use a white paper or something like this and it looks nice too =D
Hi, great video! What kind of flash r u using? I wanna make my own studio, needed an idea of good and cheap equipment, can u recomend me something? thankx
Seen your photoshop videos, you have alot of talent behind the camera and with editing! I have a question, do you only use photoshop? or do you use lightroom aswell? I used photoshop, then used lightroom and havn't really touched PS since. But that holding your head video was genius!
Hello.. GREAT VIDEOS... Thank you Thank you... I will be getting a camera soon.. Was wondering what kind you recommend.. Cannon or Nikon... And which model.. Thanks a million times once again!... Keep the videos coming! :)
I am learning and I think I am going to do a stupid question, but..anyways,... How do you focus yourself?? I mean, For me is not that easy, How do you do?
Fantastic video! I have questions! Firstly, I notice that you are not using pocket wizards or any remote flash triggers...how are you triggering the flashes then? I use a Canon 5D. Secondly, what settings are you using on your camera? i.e. shutter speed, aperture, iso etc... I love the fact that you don't let any ambient light in but I need to know what settings you are using. I'd appreciate your reply to this comment! Thanks so much!
@GadgetAddicted settings are set high, so fast shutterspeed, small aperture so that there is no ambient light. i am setting the flashes off with nikon cls, canon doesnt have that
cool video thanks!

Hi Dom,
Do you use a gray card or histogram to set the correct exposure for portraits or do you just eyeball it?
Thanks.
TheGuyTakingPictures 1 year ago
@TheGuyTakingPictures use eyeball on the screen after the shot. histogram is good, gray card is for getting your white balance not exposure
