Don't know who KMFDM is, I'll search them. Rob Zombie is okay. The only good song SOAD ever did was chop suey. Metallica is okay, I much prefer Slayer. Not right? @TDWPIzAwesome NIN is not just like Manson, you simply can't define the difference because you think Disturbed is/was worth listening to. SOAD had an entire album before Toxicity that was good and had multiple songs worth listening to. Toxicity, on the album of the same name, is worth a listen.

I hated his voice at first as well. But I listened to them more and more and I love it now. Once you realize that he can probably sing better than yourself its not so hard to come around. Try to imagine the singing any other way it just dosnt work. His lyrics are also pretty badass. And lastly being from the UK gives his singing that British ass accent. they play in complex 'time signatures' polyrhythms are completely different, a polyrhythm could be described as several rhythms contrasting with eath other, you could also mention the 'cross rhythm' effect you get from doing these types of polyrhythm, they also rely alot on practicing your independence exercises,

as for Math Rock, I think so many different genre's like this span mainly, from progressive but I can deffo agree with you on that, Math Rock/Math Core/Tech Metal etc

Even though I agree, it would be very nice to hear great music like this on the radio, I really like that not many people know about these sort of bands. It makes it a little more exclusive. And then the reactions I get when I show my friends this music.. not all of them will like it but I'd say at least half of them (the open-minded ones who aren't caught up in fist pumping techno and mainstream junk) really get into it.
