I totally agree, this Lacey act is an idiotic piece of knee jerk legislation. The registration law is quiet sufficient to protect against deliberate release of unwanted pets and to ensure that if a snake gets out by accident it can be tracked back to its original owner thus protecting people and enviroment. Cant wait for Snake day in May! I spend a lot of time teaching people about snakes and what great animals they are and there is nothing better than seeing a snake fearer become a snake fan!

I have watched several of the videos, and i havn't seen any episodes featuring madigascan species of snakes, like dumerils boas for one, which weren't even even mentioned in the boas episode. a bit dissapointed. also i believe there is a species of hognose snake as well that comes from there. id love to see an episode dedicated to malgasy species of snakes/reptiles.

@BrutalKillmaster I used to have an absolutely beautiful baby rosy boa. but she wouldn't eat... or defecate, and when we finally got her to use the bathroom (vet /finally/ told us to use a warm water shallow bath) it was too late. Ok so im a new snake owner. And im just what the best option for heating is cus some ppl said to go with the lamps but others say UTH. Right now i have the lamps one in the day that gets about 94 and at night the black heat lamp only gets about 75

I'm curious, have you guys experienced snakes that genuinely seem to not like a certain person period, or only like one person and bite everyone else? :) I've handed a snake that was perfectly fine for me to a friend who it immediately sniffed their arm and nailed them with repeated attempts, not in a feeding response either. ;) I love how these guys surprise us. :D

@PurpleLashes if i was you i would reserch it on google...i know alot of people might say that amazon tree boa's dont make good pets because there mean and expensive but i always say if u have the money and do enough reserch on an animal that you want you will be fine...just make sure you have your cage set up about a week before you purchase your snake so you know you have the right tempiture and humidity

You know I've been a fan for a while, and have never really had a problem with the info I've gotten from you guys so far, it's all been great stuff! However I do have a problem with why you said you prefer not to keep sand boas on sand. You said it's abrasive to them, but don't they live in sand in the wild? I can understand not using it because it would be too heavy for the rack, or much more expensive, but if you use the correct type of sand, in a home environment it's usually perfectly safe.

I've seen your "Show me the money" video and i would really love for you to do another similar video, i would love for you to highlight Green Tree Pythons, Amazon Tree Boas, Hognose Snakes, Pueblan Milk Snake, King Snakes, Jaguar Carpet Pythons, other Pythons/Boas etc... and give estimated prices of different species that are not talked about too often.

The sand boas are kind of interesting but I agree with coolerthanafrog, they do look a little too wormy for my taste. I much prefer the snakes with nice triangular heads.
What kind of snake was that long slender one Chewy was holding? I think what the snakes are reacting to with him is that he moves too fast and all the loud yelling. It probably makes his temperature go up. It would be interesting to see if he cooled his hands in ice first before picking one up if that would make a difference.

during my 21st birthday in vegas i met vanilla ice at the bellagio, i was a little intoxicated due to the occasion. he was playing craps and i yelled hey! vaniila ice do ice ice baby! i thought he was gonna kill me! but he came over and learned it was my birthday and gave me a $100 chip to play with him. it made my b day.and my night.
The biggest star I've met is probably Corbin Bleu. I normally abhor anyone and anything to do with Disney Channel, but he was really fun to talk to and just a great guy. Still hate DC though. I'm never going to expose my kids to that crap.

@TheTheRISKtaker I would read a different book, possibly many books and more than 200 pages, to even consider knowing the basics of snakes.You do not "know" everything, no one person does, and the eye clouding during shedding cycle should have been covered in the basics, a snake book with 200 pages without shedding information is a crappy book. It often takes years to gain knowledge about snakes and other reptiles, the best thing you can do it keep educating yourself.
Do you guys have any of the Nuclear Kenyan Sand boas? You might want to look into them if you haven't heard of them before, as most people seem to like them the best. I know it's a line bred trait, from a guy in Canada I believe, but I think they look really interesting and was just wondering if you guys had any or were considering getting some.

You know I've been a fan for a while, and have never really had a problem with the info I've gotten from you guys so far, it's all been great stuff! However I do have a problem with why you said you prefer not to keep sand boas on sand. You said it's abrasive to them, but don't they live in sand in the wild? I can understand not using it because it would be too heavy for the rack, or much more expensive, but if you use the correct type of sand, in a home environment it's usually perfectly safe.

The sand boas are kind of interesting but I agree with coolerthanafrog, they do look a little too wormy for my taste. I much prefer the snakes with nice triangular heads.
What kind of snake was that long slender one Chewy was holding? I think what the snakes are reacting to with him is that he moves too fast and all the loud yelling. It probably makes his temperature go up. It would be interesting to see if he cooled his hands in ice first before picking one up if that would make a difference.

@TheTheRISKtaker I would read a different book, possibly many books and more than 200 pages, to even consider knowing the basics of snakes.You do not "know" everything, no one person does, and the eye clouding during shedding cycle should have been covered in the basics, a snake book with 200 pages without shedding information is a crappy book. It often takes years to gain knowledge about snakes and other reptiles, the best thing you can do it keep educating yourself.
