They do it and get more money because they get that young audience. And we all know younger people are much more easily influenced by dolled up puppeteering. You cant honestly tell me that toby keith is just as good as he ever was. He's huge now and is horrible.

No It's not that they find music that many people just happen to like, they just limit their options. You look at cmt for example and its the same handful of people on their every time, no matter how bad their music is. I wish the music industry was the way people think it is but it's not. They find a cute guy or girl with decent vocals and turn them into whatever tool they find will work best to sell the image they wanna sell. It's all about money and more money is pop-country.

to bad the music industry doesnt want talent anymore, they just want dumb people to listen to dumber singers, who make them dumber in the process. Independant and underground music is where talent lives and music still lives on. Hopefully this nashville music corruption phase will end so these dudes and many others can get what they deserve.

@wheelmanstan I'm pretty sure that music is subjective, and the industry just finds people that make music that a lot of people like. Yeah Tyler is good but not a whole lot of people listen to blues rock anymore, the same goes for indie bands. Even though they might be talented, what they do with that talent might not be appealing to a wide audience. The industry doesn't force people to listen to certain bands.
