WHY do people insist that their UNTRAINED dogs "only want to play" and let them harass livestock and think it's cute???? German Shepherds at one time WERE herding dogs, but they are WAY TO AGGRESSIVE to be such any more...all you have to do is WATCH their body language and see that they are a hair from being an attack dog rather than a herding dog...even when TRAINED. This is why I don't believe loose dogs need to be around livestock, because there is NO control when they are loose!!
