Weed was made illegal bout the same time as alcohol. Do you think it was right to make alcohol legal instead of weed? More people died from alcohol related incidents then soldiers killed in Iraq in July(most deadliest month with 30 dead). More than 10 people died in my state last month because they were drunk and drving the wrong way down the interstate. Weed doesnt do that. It hasnt been proven to give u cancer either. Pot is illegal cause of Oil, Cloth & Chem Co's. Petrol can be replaced with a Hemp Seed Oil (which is what originally fueled the Ford Model T, a Henry Ford idea) & Hemp fibers make everything from clothes, ropes & paper. Something the HUGE companies of the time didn't like

The Marihuana Tax Act did not come along until 1937. If you're trying to support a pro-legalization argument at least get your historical facts straight.
