But You Would Have To Be Like A Snake Or They Would Let The Dogs Loose Or The Guys At The Gate Would Run After You. But The Sometimes The Kids Would Get Caught Continue....>

I was 5foot11 at the time and had a 4 pack from working out everyday. I went there and made fun of everyone everyday untill the councillers told me i didnt beed to be there and kicked me out after a week and a half. I told my confused parents when i got home that they were going crazy and that it was only that long. Best summer EVER

I think Fat camps,or weight loss camps, are a good idea for overweight teens, i know they push you hard, but not as hard as they used to. I personally would love to go to one myself.Glad you enjoyed it.

Haha I'm glad someone from realtubes has been to a fat camp and can speak from experience! I went to a fat camp too..Camp La Jolla in San Diego, California. My experience was a lot like yours (the counselors were all gorgeous!) except there were a lot of celebrity kids there since it was in such a ritzy area. It was hard to be surrounded by really rich kids that treated it more like a vacation than a fitness camp. Crazy times.

i'm glad you had such a good experience, and it was interesting to hear your comments. i definately can see how it's a good social experience, any camp is, but especially fat camps -- making friends and being accepted is itself good for the self esteem, so i see that as the biggest benefit of fat camp (i'm still against dieting though! hahaha!)
