Interesting reading comments here. This performance was exceptional! Beyond her technical skill as a dancer, her timing was impeccable as well as her use of a prop. But beyond this, I felt an energy and personality from her that completed the whole piece. Unfortunately we live in a society that has a lack of respect for dance. In the realm of impact art in our culture it is film, music, dance, and then fashion. Dancers have to be bigger than life to ever make a lasting impact! She did here!
