So its already pretty unrealistic, and having customized weapons probably won't affect it much.

And again, you're doing guessing work my friend. I'm a very humble person, but FYI I am/was actually pretty good in MW2's multiplayer. But the thing is, it's just not fun because the game causes frustration despite of sucess. Simply put, it is an extremely unbalanced game that was rushed, and the developers failed to realize their mistakes nor did they listen to the community.

I never noticed any significant change in players over time. The amount of boosters, UMP/commando kids, etc. remained the same. The success of MW2 was based on the prior success of COD4 + the extreme marketing campaign behind it. And don't believe the silly media hype. It is part of said marketing to announce games as "best selling/most successful title of all time". They do it every few months. Also check out other games. There are far more better alternatives.

@skilzpwnu25 Yes, it's still CALLED Call of Duty. I personally started at CoD 2 also, I skipped CoD 3, because I'm a PC gamer, and it never came out 4 the PC. MW2 is great, only the matchmaking system sucks and Black Ops has a money system which I... just don't like. I think I'll buy it, but loving it? Don't be so sure about that.
