@joellogan the DM had a plastic water bottle that he would put hot water in and then slip in chips of dry ice (hot water makes for thicker fog). If you recreate the effect be sure to play in a well ventilated area so the CO2 doesn't get to you.
@andyschiller actually those were created with Hirst Arts Fantasy Architecture molds. The DM cast them and we glued them together (in easy to use sections) and painted them. I had a lot of fun painting the ice terrain.
