People who think that they shouldn't make a halo 4 are crazy you couldn't leave master chief hanging like that it would be wrong I can not wait for it and another thing reach was a tremendous addition to the story line wether the multilayer was good or not is debatable but the story line was worth the money

But i remember all the fun me and my brother and his friend had playing it for years. Down in his basement almost every day till 4am playing it or messing around in blood gulch. Those were the days. And when i look at the games and the people, though both good, there is a huge difference, its like they are 2 totally different things

Of the 200 people who are working on Halo 4, you can count on your hand how many of them are former Bungie employees. The reality is 343i is pretty much a completely new team.

I love this game! It makes me sad knowing I will nevver play it again. My Halo 2 broke a long time ago. Then I bought an xbox 360 Slim. But then I realized that it couldnt play the original Xbox games. So now I cant even borrow it from a friend to play it... I would do so many things to play that game again.

I think halo 2 had the best story to it because you really get the feel of being able to be the covenant. Halo Reach which its pretty good, but most people disagree because chief is not in it well if noble six never protected the "Pillar Of Autumn" there wouldn't be a Halo CE,2, and 3. @scAlpha no halo reachs story was better than fall of reach. It actually felt like a real battle unlike fall of reach. Which only showed the battle for reach for only ten pages.
Very good story, very good characters, except Master Chief. Works solidly in the concept of the game but it sucks how weak his characters is....essentially just a shell compared to others in the story....especially when you put him next to such an interesting character as the Arbiter. Only thing that always bugged me out about the story.
@balooga999 He's supposed to be that way. He's pretty much a silent protagonist so he's going to be quiet and faceless because he's an avatar for the player. There's also other reasons for him being reserved like the fact that he's been trained his whole life to be nothing more than a weapon.
I personally love the way he is. Because he's a blank canvas everybody has a different opinion on him and loves him for different reasons.

People troll on Halo 2's campaign and I don't know why. It is by far the most cinematic, most action and gives insight into the covenant . Halo:CE had that awesome twist midway through the game, but I think Halo 2 is the better cinematic campaign.
Halo 3 was VERY disappointing in terms of a story. Nothing was really explained at all. It felt like Cortana wasn't in the damn game

If I remember correctly, Bungie said they wanted the player to feel like they were playing a movie when they made Halo 2, but they felt with the third installment they wanted to make it more "like a game". It wasn't the wisest decision Bungie has ever made. Halo 3 was great, but the entire first-half of the game was stripped of its epicness, and some of the levels (such as the second one) I felt were just "filler" levels to prolong the campaign.

In the end they were forced to say that it was a fragment of Cortana that Noble Six delivered to Keys.
@scAlpha7 but the most impossible was that the Pillar of Autumn had instead (on the novel ) of retrieving John and Linda and fly out of there Key somehow managed to land an almost destroyed Autumn to Reach breaking through th covenant fleet ( now that is an impossible feet even for Captain Keyes)

I think halo 2 had the best story to it because you really get the feel of being able to be the covenant. Halo Reach which its pretty good, but most people disagree because chief is not in it well if noble six never protected the "Pillar Of Autumn" there wouldn't be a Halo CE,2, and 3. Halo 3 was good but i don't like how they killed Johnson that pissed me off. Halo CE was Amazing but wasn't as good as the other ones!!!!

1. How did Keyes, Arbitor, Johnson and the posse get from Delat Halo to Earth before MC?
2. If Truth thought Tartarus was going to light the ring why did he go to earth to get to the ark...to light the rings?
3. WTF was up with those Cortana moments?
4. How did Gravemind torture Cortana?
5. Why were the grunts/hunters allied with elites in H2 then enemies?

Very good story, very good characters, except Master Chief. Works solidly in the concept of the game but it sucks how weak his characters is....essentially just a shell compared to others in the story....especially when you put him next to such an interesting character as the Arbiter. Only thing that always bugged me out about the story.

@balooga999 He's supposed to be that way. He's pretty much a silent protagonist so he's going to be quiet and faceless because he's an avatar for the player. There's also other reasons for him being reserved like the fact that he's been trained his whole life to be nothing more than a weapon.
I personally love the way he is. Because he's a blank canvas everybody has a different opinion on him and loves him for different reasons.

I think him being a blank canvas is great as far as a video game experience goes but it doesn't translate as well for me in a literary and cinematic forum which the brand has increasingly branched out to. I just want the story left as is: video game. Reading about Master Chief or watching in a movie would drive me bonkers because he is nothing or something else for all

People troll on Halo 2's campaign and I don't know why. It is by far the most cinematic, most action and gives insight into the covenant . Halo:CE had that awesome twist midway through the game, but I think Halo 2 is the better cinematic campaign.
Halo 3 was VERY disappointing in terms of a story. Nothing was really explained at all. It felt like Cortana wasn't in the damn game

Like Maria on Gears of War 2, she should have lived because she would have been a symbol of a new and strong beginning for humanity and someone old and battle-harden like Lord Hood should've given his life.... But no!.. Also, Cortana not being there just sucked, I am not trolling I love the games, it's that I am a story writer and I know how these things go.

@TheAVAgaming at the end of Halo: Reach... like after the credits roll, u will fight that unbeatable battle. its like a lone wolf mission entitled "There will be another time"... after you die, it shows ur helmet.. it then says the year is 2589 or something and u will see in the background, a human colony ship resettling the planet. pretty fuckin sweet if u ask me!!!!

If I remember correctly, Bungie said they wanted the player to feel like they were playing a movie when they made Halo 2, but they felt with the third installment they wanted to make it more "like a game". It wasn't the wisest decision Bungie has ever made. Halo 3 was great, but the entire first-half of the game was stripped of its epicness, and some of the levels (such as the second one) I felt were just "filler" levels to prolong the campaign.

@sauron9990 I disagree Halo Reach has the worst story (for one simple reason ) It really F**** the halo story line thats was until then amazing and it was a hard job on those guys on halopedia to fix the story line since now with the additon of Noble team most events of Halo The Fall Reach are contradected exe How on Earth Cortana flew the Pillar of Autumn while being with Halsey . In the end they were forced to say that it was a fragment of Cortana that Noble Six delivered to Keys.

@scAlpha7 but the most impossible was that the Pillar of Autumn had instead (on the novel ) of retrieving John and Linda and fly out of there Key somehow managed to land an almost destroyed Autumn to Reach breaking through th covenant fleet ( now that is an impossible feet even for Captain Keyes)
