@LeonidiasofSparta300 the arrows can be added in later in a photo editing suite (E.G. Photoshop) only the first few characters in the foreground have to shoot their bow. It's all just an illusion :D

most new pc's made in 2009/10 will run it as long as they are decent price/make. You would be better off asking this question on a PC hardware forum like tom's hardware or pc powerplay.

@doctormoobbc well didnt oblivion come out years ago? cuz i only wont to play oblivion on meadium to high grathinks so what about an older pc?

It came out in 2006 but is still a pretty demanding game, look at crysis nearly 3 years old but still very intensive. But if you just want to run on medium to high graphics id reccomend at least a nvidia 8 series gpu or ati HD 3800. And then a dual core cpu and 1gb+ of ram. If you have anything higher than that then thats very good. Also what size is your monitor? If you have a bigger monitor like a 22" then you may need a more powerful system.

I can run oblivion on straight medium graphics minus some grass, distant trees, etc on my laptop, which is basically what doctormoobbc described. I run with an XPS M1530:

2GB DDR2 Memory

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00GHz

nVidia GeForce 8400M GS(128MB memory)

Windows Vista Home Premium

Oblivion runs just fine with those specs set to medium. I have to lower my resolution but it creates a nice balance between playability and smooth looks.

Bethesda has its due, but 95% of this video is modder developed content. The armors, the pretty characters, the textures, the distant lod, the amazing weather, etc etc all done by modders. The original oblivion game was quite plain, actually. Modders, as you can see, have brightened up Bethesda's world.

Like you said most mods are shit... BUT without mods the game would not have made it so big and we would not have as much things to do in the game. Modders have shared an equal role in making the game great and if you don't like modders then you dont have a taste for good game.

i agree if bethesda didn't release a construction set i would have finished the game in a day or two (As much as id like to play) but with all the mods ive been playing for two years and i still haven't 'Finished' the game.

Bethesda should really look at the modding community and take their advice or even help with the next game.

What also annoys me with bethesda is all the bugs in their games mainly CTDs this really wrecks the elements of the game and makes it fell 'unfinished'.
