I can't see how the pilot did it on purpose. After what just happened in Poland maybe there's a fault with the SU-27, maybe it was a freak accident, maybe he just lost control, whatever - it's clear that he tried to pull out of the dive.

Aircraft flying to the crowd at, The Southport Airshow is banned because of what happed at Ramstein and in the Ukraine, thought 3 years ago some idots whent past the crowd line and into where the aircraft where displayin, it stoped the airshow for about 30mins, plus it cost two displays fromm happening that year. For those who don't know where Soutport is, it is i the North West of the Uk.
It wasn't engine failure. Once he rolled level the left wing dropped making recovery impossible at the altitude. Swept wing jets cannot recover without big height loss. It was a stupid manoever to attempt at that altitude and a terrible waste of life. The pilot got 14 years, the co-pilot 8 years, defence minister resigned and two officials got 6 years. They broke flight rules and regulations in a really stupid attempt to thrill the crowd and deserve what they got. 76% of accidents = pilot error
The pilot asked to practice maneuver prior to show but was denied. I guess he was not comfortable enough doing it. Very sad for everyone there that day.
Few seconds before everybody including pilots had great show and day and everything twisted withing seconds, the pilot looked like he was hoping he's dead, I mean really, can you imagine that? No. Those pilots shoud be ritired and not puted in a jail!

Dont be fucking stupid.
He didnt want to kill anybody, but his plane went out of control and instead of trying to regain control he paniced and ejected, poor guy has to live with that mistake...

I can't see how the pilot did it on purpose. After what just happened in Poland maybe there's a fault with the SU-27, maybe it was a freak accident, maybe he just lost control, whatever - it's clear that he tried to pull out of the dive.
Yeah, the guy has a lot to live with and I feel sorry for him, and the friends and families of the victims. I'm just wondering how many of the ppl we see wandering around in shock were just next to their loved ones a moment earlier...Shit.

I agree with the Poland incident. If you watch the videos they look very similar in the way the plane went down.

Aircraft flying to the crowd at, The Southport Airshow is banned because of what happed at Ramstein and in the Ukraine, thought 3 years ago some idots whent past the crowd line and into where the aircraft where displayin, it stoped the airshow for about 30mins, plus it cost two displays fromm happening that year. For those who don't know where Soutport is, it is i the North West of the Uk.

It wasn't engine failure. Once he rolled level the left wing dropped making recovery impossible at the altitude. Swept wing jets cannot recover without big height loss. It was a stupid manoever to attempt at that altitude and a terrible waste of life. The pilot got 14 years, the co-pilot 8 years, defence minister resigned and two officials got 6 years. They broke flight rules and regulations in a really stupid attempt to thrill the crowd and deserve what they got. 76% of accidents = pilot error

The pilot asked to practice maneuver prior to show but was denied. I guess he was not comfortable enough doing it. Very sad for everyone there that day.

Few seconds before everybody including pilots had great show and day and everything twisted withing seconds, the pilot looked like he was hoping he's dead, I mean really, can you imagine that? No. Those pilots shoud be ritired and not puted in a jail!

you know maybe the pilot feels horrible which im sure he does, incidents happen guys, and this is an airshow where anything ca happen the pilot couldn't do anything, maybe that guy who patted the pilot on the back just tried to condolence him, that's really harsh, a lot of people are going to talk shit to him for the rest of his life.
