(In any case this is an explosive search dog, not a drug search dog)

well the training method 'yes4me' mentioned (that the dogs get addicted) is very old and very uncommon at this time, the dogs are most likely trained on a smell and if they find the source of that smell they get a big reward, so the dog will start looking for that smell because he wants that reward;)
