ha you can't be serious....ALL rugby is is picking up the ball and running with it until you get stopped....and that "throwing the tiny ball" that you mentioned, yeah, they have to be able to hit a receiver sprinting full speed (running 4.3-4.4 40s) in the hands when he is 60 yards away and defended by another player who runs just as fast...while the guys on the line have to be absolutely enormous (benching 450+ lbs) while also being fast enough to stay in front of very fast defenders...

the most impressive part about Polamalu is he can do everything on defense. Sack, tackle for loss, cover, pick, his sense for where the ball is going, and add in his ability to get tipped balls, and all the incidental stuff. in 20 years of watching the NFL, i've never seen anyone else like him.

Yeah defintely dude, that why when Ed Reed played the same position as him (his first three years in the league), Reed averaged more tackles, sacks, FFs, FRs, PDs, 2.5x as many INTs, and 10x as many TDs, but yeah you're right, NO ONE is on the same field with Troy hahaha. Reed was better in EVERY SINGLE STATISTICAL CATEGORY, not to mention, he has had TONS of huge hits, yet Troy is still looking for his first.

To tell you the we didn't think it was a TD either. but even Mike perera head of offciating for the NFL said it's a TD, for example when your running at the goaline the ball has to break the plain, but in this case since holme's was going away from the end zone all you have to have is your feet in. If ed reed is so washed up than why did he just break his old int return record of 108yds against the eagles??? ed reed is only 30. to be considered washed up 4 a DB u have to be at least 34. DB's have 1 of the longest life expectancys in the NFL. troy is having a good season but reed has had the much better career. ed has 39 career ints, troy only has 17 career ints. ed also has 11tds & troy only has 1td

check out troys career stats on nfl(.)com. u will see that he only has 1 career td. ur just picturing troy having more but he only has 1. reed has 11 total on defense and special teams play. reed is the ONLY player in nfl history to have scored a td off of a int, fumble recovery, a blocked kick, blocked punt & a punt return. he also won defensive player of the yr award in 2004 where he had 9ints & he blocked 2 punts that he returned for tds. once again ed has 39 ints, troy only has 17ints.
