  • Silver is very good for you! :) It helps with your immune system!

  • I love your intro!

  • Two men, one woman

  • aahh i finally found the Silver Dragées in bulk barn :) - it was in the spices/coffee section :S

  • when i get married i will make these so dont delete any of your videos because they help so much although i doubt you would because your ideas are amazing and should be cherished more lol

  • The big puddle underneath the strawberries is called a foot

  • can i melt the melters on the stove the same way i melt chocolate? (in a bowl over boiling water)

  • @VampireKick yes you can :)

  • @VampireKick you and put it in your microwave to :D

  • @kinect911 trust me, everything i put in the microwave comes out either burned or smushed together into something thats not eatable :P

  • .....whoa for me it says it was uploaded on Jan 29 2012. and today is the 12th..

  • @jjustAmyy of february.. not january/

  • @UltimateRockstarz oh :/ im stupid

  • your too cool bro

  • You just got another subscriber and that's me!!!

  • shame to eat them :/

  • I Like it when u say buttons :P

  • So Cute! and PERFECT for my cousins wedding shower! Thank You!

  • Can you do a Valentines Strawberry Decorating Video?

  • I saw this while I was eating chocolate covered strawberrys laugh out loud

  • @yoyomax12 where did you get your song intro? :D

  • I know what to serve at our wedding now, they look amazing and helps with our budget too! Thank you so much!

  • I made these for my sisters wedding every one loved them THANK U SO MUCH

  • I had some really big strawberries and I ended up slicing them in 1/2, then dipping them. My white did turn pink, so it was a pink dress suitable for valentines day. So really this way I ended up doubling my recipe and the side that laid flat on the surface was beautifully nice and smooth.

  • thumbs up if you also think that the tuxido jackets look like jack skellingtons body from the nightmare before christmas :D

  • I use the same chocolate wafers from the bulk burn .. but when i melt them in the microwave they smell burnt? Is that normal? And they dont melt completely, it has little chips? :/ How do I do this..

  • @thaoio You need to melt the wafers only at 50% power in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, massaging the bag (or stirring the bowl) in between the intervals.

  • Gorgeous! - roc

  • WHOA!!!

  • they're called silver balls here in england. =]

thank you for all your awesome videos! :D

  • Yummy

  • i love the fact that these are made at home...i love homemade goods

  • I just got done making these and they turned out great. People are asking where I got them. They were shocked when I told them I made them. Thanks for the help. Love the videos keep them coming.

  • The groom one is beautiful. I'll be making these soon. Wish the Bride one was different. Great job though.

  • i loveeee white chocolate lol. i would eat dipped chocolate strawberries all day :D

  • These are adorable Tammy and I LOVE chocolate dipped strawberries. We have a booth at our local fair that sells them 2 for a dollar and they are one of my fav. treats at the fair. Theirs are not nearly as pretty though.

I can't believe that ppl are worried about eating silver dragées. I think ppl are waaayy to paranoid about things they don't get a chance to build any resistance to stuff. I know I've eaten silver dragées plenty of times and am still alive. Last I checked anyway LOL.

  • yay

if have hese I will never eat it

it's for show not to eat

  • : } Cute!

  • this is so cute not sure i'll still wanna eat it afterall

  • Really cute Tammy!!!

  • Glad to help! We found it was better because the chocolate ran back up the strawberry and then you did not need to re dip it. Thanks again for your wonderful posts you have a big following in south Australia a group of 11 year olds regularly talk about your posts and the stuff they have made from them. :)

  • When I make these I put the strawberries on a skewer through the stem then when you have dipped them you place the skewer in a glass and the strawberry dosn't touch anything and get any flat marks. Then you can choose the best side to display and it is heaps less messy. Thank you for your wonderful decorating ideas you have inspired my daughter and myself on our cupcake decorating journey :)

  • @Teamlolly1 What a great idea! I was finding that when I put them down, the "best" side of the strawberry wasn't necessarily the one facing directly up

  • This is such a nice Idea not just for valentines day.

If you use glacé or chocolate in different colors you can do lots of different dresses. Perfect for a brunch I think.

  • what do the silver dragees taste like?

  • @warriorcats4ever100 They taste pretty much like sugar

  • what a grat idea they look lovely

  • Silver and gold are mild anti-microbial agents in small amounts. In the past, royalty used gold utensils, plates and cups because it would ward off some bacteria from tainted food due to lack of refrigeration. That is why we use silverware to this day. Thank you for sharing this cute-tastic, fruit-tastic edible art!

  • Yummy!!!!!!

  • @yoyomax12 oh, hehe, do you watch cake boss, if you dont i would reccomend it, i think you'd get some good idea's on there, although you hardly need the inspiration, your cup cakes are amazing

  • soooo cute!!!!

  • But even if the balls are edible, it has metal so it is not advisable if you it.

  • @Elya266 People eat gold leaf in fancy desserts and it is included in certain liqueurs. They are non-toxic.

  • these are cute. they would be great for a bridal shower or wedding..very time consuming though!! haha

  • love it! :)

  • here in Australia. We call tghose silver balls cachous

  • Comment removed

  • I think those might make good cake toppers.

  • mmm! chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite I have them every year on my birthday for breakfast!

  • Thanks for posting this videos. I've always wanted to know how to make these. I hope I can do this. You make it look so easy :)

  • i saw this on cake boss, is that were you got the inspiration, i love them, so cute!

and you know when your covering them in chocolate, you should do one side, then wait for the chocolate to dry, then do the other, it may take longer but it will be easier

  • @GemmaMeyer I did a google image search for valentine goodies and I saw them there, they appear in many many places other than cake boss

  • PLEASE MARRY ME!!

  • The silver candies are sold as edible from where I'm from but I tasted them once and to me they tasted like pepper? It was disgusting nevertheless. Is this a normal taste or where the ones I tasted just bad?

  • I wish I saw these a few days ago... -____- I was making some LOL

  • i'm sooooo jelly right now :(

  • In Germany the little silver balls are in the suprmarket right next to all the baking supplies... Why ever wouldn't they be edible? There isn't that much in it anyway....

  • awww they are so clever and soooo sweet and even better dont seem too difficult :) x

  • i think they are really clever ...everyone makes for valentines day cookies or cakes. but love having strawberrys and champagne but what a great idea ...i do hope you have a little cake shop or cake stall your cupcakes are amazing your very talented i would buy your creations :)

  • you should have your own tv show

  • After watching this video, I did a little research on the silver dragees. It turns out they had mercury in them back in the early 1900s! Obviously they don't now, but maybe that's why some countries are a little hesitant towards them. BTW, super cute strawberries! I think they'd be PERFECT for a dessert at a wedding!

  • i live in england and those silver balls are sold next to the icing, cake mix ect and it had never accured to me that these weren't edible, oops! But ive been eating them all my life and im still alive soooo :)

  • wow it looks beautiful! I wouldn't eat it because it's too beautiful :D

  • Oh my lovely but so much work lol.

  • yay double dip!

  • It taste so good! I made some for fun~! The white chocolate tastes better than white candy melting wafers.

  • The chocolate wafers are really hard to melt T_T

  • They make a beautiful couple haha. They look really yummy but I dont like strawberry.

  • Tammy I just woke up from a wonderful dream before I came online, and I wanted to watch something nice to prolong that pleasant feeling - when I saw your video in my subscription box I knew that would be the one :)

  • Oooh! Just found some pretty pastel colored metallic ones on Amazon. (And yes, they have the silver ones, too....)

Guess I don't need to travel out of state for them. Cool! =)

  • @IWalk4tnt Apparently it is against the law to ship these to CA, let me know if they will, I"m curious

  • @yoyomax12 Guess I should have read all the way down to the legal disclaimer...poop!

  • I wish I saw this four months ago, I would have made it for my wedding!!

  • @biohazard2886 :( Maybe for a first anniversary :)

  • @yoyomax12 That's a wonderful idea :) Thanks for the awesome videos!!

  • i love it <3

  • Nice job Tammy!! :) They used to sell the silver balls here in California, but I haven't seen them in many years. I wonder if the cupcake decorating police pulled them from the shelves...

  • @IWalk4tnt Apparently there was a lawsuit in California that resulted in them being banned from the state.

  • @yoyomax12 Seriously? Might have to bring some back the next time I go out of state somewhere, lol. Yeah, I'm gonna walk on the wild side! I'm a rebel!

  • how cute!!

  • @RMGrmgryfry1024479 Thanks!

  • @yoyomax12 no problem!! :)

  • we have eaten those silver candies for as long as i can remember... maybe that explains some thing about my family ;)

    xoexo

  • @edenbainbridge The silly thing is Eden, is that in some states of the US they are labelled non-toxic and inedible on the package. So, they won't hurt you but don't eat them. Kind of like crayola crayons, lol.

Now I'm wondering if my family has been eating too many of them, would explain a lot, lol

  • @yoyomax12 i figure it is like the old red fiestawear, using it is ok but in moderation. the nitrates in our foods has to be worse right? i sure hope so, mama loves her pretty red fiestawear & silver decorations and i am not ready to retire them yet :)

    xoexo
