  • go fuck your self men what you say about mexicans,we proudly are persons not objects,I expect someday you will retract your redneck, racist comment about us,and first god don't have the need one of us to do something that you are not capable to do moron

  • love seeing you idiots argue about the different brands.

  • My fred bear INSTINCT is quieter than all them

  • im a Martin man myself

  • HOYT all the way baby!!!

  • If you go compound its Methews

If you go Recurve its Hoyt

PSE AND BOWTEC ALLSO GOOD BOWS

Its all about the chap that sets his bow up properly and is a good shot.

there are people out there shooting beter with long bows than some people shoot with Mathews or Hoyts

  • Junk I say

  • the key is to extend your pinky fingure///

  • Bowtech is the best period!

  • Pse stands for piece or shit equipment

  • @Mr223wssm

youre wrong... pse actually makes a very good bow. i have a pse rogue x and its awesome. pse may not be the best, but its mot shitty. bow tech is something shitty..

  • @Mr223wssm sorry you are unable to use pse bows, you must truly suck, i have a 2" spread in the 10/9s at 65 yds

  • mathews are like mexicans, we use them if we have to

  • @skidoo541

okay thats why mathews has 34 IBO world championships and all other brands combined have 6

  • but seriously id love to sit and chit chat but i feel a mathews coming on

  • what do you mathews people mean by "catch us if you can"???? we at bowtech have already lapped you 4 damn times do you really need a fifth to realize how bad you suck?

  • mathews are really good ive taken 2 today

  • Keep stickin your fingers out like that and your gonna catch a broadhead to the hand

  • im sorry but speed doesnt mean a thing unless you can hit your target, and as far as noise if a deer hears the bow befor the arrow gets there then your too far away. I have an old pse nova solo cam and have never had a deer jump the string.

  • @muddslinger2008 Speed means flat trajectory, and when hunting out west it could mean the difference between a clean kill or a bat hit, as far as misjudging yardage. And generally the rule of thumb is the faster heavier arrows means more KE. Better for penetration. There is alot to be said for slower quiet bows, but there is also alot to be said about faster flat shooting bows also. Dont get me wrong I am not dissing your Nova, they were good bows in their time. I used to own one.

  • I am not bad mouthing mathews, I own one. Go and shoot a pse evo, It will catch you by surprise, it did me. How smooth the draw was, and super quiet for a cam 1/2 bow. Very fast to. I liked mathews and them only, till I shot a new pse. Did talk with a proshop today about the monster. The wont even carry them, very few diehard mathew shooters like them. The majority hate it. Mathews make a good bow, but so does pse.

  • I heard something the other day that was so funny. Jay gregory and the wild outdoors video team has shot Mathews for better than ten years. On his last episode he acknowledged he thought he was actually shooting the smoothest fastest bow out there, and how he listened to his buddy Mark Drury talk about his pse. Never the less, they are all now shooting pse. That should tell you something unless your stupid.

  • I think the PSE was the quitest. and sounded like it hit the hardest too

  • the drenalin and the pse were both perdy quite but the drenalin had a full set up with a sound dampening stabalizer and all the other bows were naked so it wasnt a very fair test on that one.

  • ma come cazzo tira sto omo?

  • ma come cazzo tira sto omo!

  • get a hoyt carbon

  • @lummer17

I got a loaded 2010 hoyt carbon matrix. It's an amazing bow.

  • its all in personal prefferance, i have shot all the brands , and im sticking with the xforce, by pse, and mine is the super short, i love it, its all in the sales pitch you was told, just because your buddy likes it doesnt mean u have to it pressured into ya, i dont push any brand on anyone let them decide;

  • come on guys and ladies , its all in personal prefferance, i have shot matthews , but im still PSE all the way, didnt like the feel of the matthews bow i shot, and if u believe all the sales pitch get u a prius also;lol - its all in what you like , what feels better to you, try a variety then say what u want, i have, from bear to pse, to matthews, to hoyt, have fun with your bows, i do

  • come on guys and ladies , its all in personal prefferance, i have shot matthews , but im still PSE all the way, didnt like the feel of the matthews bow i shot, and if u believe all the sales pitch get u a prius also;lol

  • the comparison sucks how do we know he is shooting same grain arrow from each bow an all bows were a bare bow but one... what a complete moron if your gonnna make a review do it rightu dumb ass

  • first learn how to shoot.. i think ur going to fall out of your treestand with that shotin

  • pse

  • xforce

  • i own 2 mathews, a hoyt, bowtech destroyer and tribute, and Darton 3800.

I like them all but for some reason I find myself shooting my Darton almost all the time. The others do look nice on the wall of my hunting room.....along with the other mounts.

  • Get serious.. give us all your money.. Mathews solocam lol

A lot of money to pay for name.

  • @akhawkins I think you meant a lot of bow for the money right???. I've owned and shot Bear, PSE, Hoyt, Reflex and Mathews. Mathews bows aren't cheap, but neither are Hoyts or Bowtechs or any of the top of the line bows. I feel Mathews is the best quality out of all of the bows I have shot (I've been bow hunting for over 25 years). To each his own, but I'll always shoot Mathews.

  • @akhawkins Nope, I am just stating you are buying a name. I have shot Mathews .. Hoyt, And there are bows out there that are just as nice for half the price. But like you said to each there own. I am sure all those TV hosts appreciate you kicking in for there free bow for sure : ) Just saying??

  • the 82nd is pretty loud along with the drenalin.

    i still shoot mathews anyday!

  • Stop bragging how much better your compounds are. Shoot traditional archery and show off YOUR skills not just the bow's.

  • @ZombieOnaStick21

Hi, all welcome to English field archery. longbows. american flat bows, recurve bows

horse bows etc, At the moment I have a shoulder injury so I am shooting an old 50lb Mathews solo cam(Ebay) as I can't shoot my 60lb hunting recurve for long. No sights, finger release, I can hit an elk(3d) at 100 yds easy with either bow. Do what this man says, you the bow nothing else, its all your fault, no crap to blame.

Ps my hunting recurve cost $50 ,25 years ago, still shoots 195 fps.

  • all you guys are a bunch of fags. what matters is your ground, plots and being a good hunter. i killed an 193" 18pointer with a $250 darton in 07. 4 total with that bow in 7 years. you guys can sit in your basements and jack off with your $1000 bows while i fuck your wives under my 18 pointer! fuckin city boys suck dicks!

  • there all loud get a hoyt!

  • how do uuuuuuuuuuuu consider it comparison shooting?????????? you show no results??????????? WTF>>>>

  • you havent heard a loud bow till you see a old pse lightning elite 2,i have one,its pretty old,it is the loudest bow i have ever seen

  • deff the drenalin, pse was the slowest

  • w/e you say boss.

  • drenalin definitely

  • I own a bear nobody ever thinks about bear. Mathews says that the bear attack is probably the best compound bow ever built

  • @jugglingguy3

Bear is a nice bow but I'd love to know your source. I am sure that Mathews did not say that. This is a crock of sh*t. Mathews actually touts the new Z7 as the best hunting bow ever offered by anyone. After owning many bows and now a Z7, I definately agree with Mathews.

  • Mathews cost more because you get industry leading technology which translates into a more durable and accurate bow. If Mathews cost the same as a POS like a PSE (point, shoot, explode) then PSE would be out of business. Some guys want to spend less on a bow and therefore get less. You get what you pay for people. Your PSE will be back for warranty work 3 times because of broken limbs and cam problems before a Mathews even gets broken in. Nuff said.

  • @GLOCKCOPG23 dude, seriously, you gotta read another magazine aside from "mathews weekly". All im sayin, is all the mathews shooters are just like you, cocky. They think their shizzle dont stink and thats what makes people like me vow to never shoot a mathews bow. Instead ill stick to what I know and continue to beat 99% of you guys every week.

  • I would rather save my money by not throwing it away on a Pse, & Mathews, and spend the hundreds I saved buy great accessories, and then still have money to get a meal.

A wise man once said, "Dated9119" Don't pay for the name, Pay for the bow itself. Fred Bear Archery, great bows for less.

  • pse x force vs mathews inovation

  • does anyone have the mathews reezen- how do u like if u have it

  • all the new bows are very good.I myself have a Browning Myst very dependable bow.Everybody has their own preference.

  • I own a bowtech

i made a decision based on price

i shot mayhews and bowtech and i couldn't see $250 difference to buy mathews

    i shot 6 deer @ 35 yards total pass through.they diden't go 30 yard dead

    bowtech from now on

  • get serious get Mathews Solocam....... Catch us if you can

  • What is so great about Mathews? Everybody acts like they work for Mathews, they act as if Mathews is the best Compound Bow Company. 100% not true, They do make a nice bow don't get me wrong, looks don't make the bow better, its not a fashion statement.

  • @dated9119 -he is right your pretty much just paying for the name...

  • @K2bye FYI, mathews abandoned the solocam with the monster because they couldnt keep up with PSE's speed..... hmm, ironic...

  • @jayball2003 Sorry Mr. Uninformed. Mathews did not abandon the solocam. The "monster" is in the "McPherson" line owned by Mathews. All "Mathews" bows are still solocam. The Reezen is just as fast as 99% of the Point, Shoot, Explode bows and is SOLOCAM. Do some research before you make yourself look like an idiot again!!!

  • @GLOCKCOPG23 damn dude, chill. stop drinking the mathews kool-aid. First, Matt McPherson is the owner of Mathews bows. So, saying this is a Mcpherson line, proves that he also abandoned the Mathews name because he didnt want to recall all those millions of "solocam: catch us if you can" shirts that aparently dominate your closet.

BTW, check the limbs on your monster, ill betcha they still say mathews. Oh, and look in the mathews catalog, Ill bet the moster is still there.

  • @jayball2003 I do not own a "monster" nor am I interested in it. I like single cam bows exclusively. I don't need to be tortured for speed. Matt M said that he did not want the "monster" to even emulate the Mathews line cause it is different. Solo has not been abandoned by "Mathews". PSE is a POS. Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech is the "big three" no matter what you think. Pay less, get less Period!! Enjoy your shitty bow and have a nice day.

  • @jayball2003 Thank you Captain Obvious. Repeat : Same owner different line. Like Bowtech and Diamond. Do you get it now, or do I have to slow down for you? FYI I like Hoyt and Bowtech just as much as Mathews. Stop assuming what you don't know. Now go play nice with the rest of the tards.

  • @jayball2003 According to your mentality PSE must have "abandoned" their dual cam , speed bow concept because they put out a couple of single cams. They just couldn't keep up with the smooth pulling bows apparently. This mind set makes no sense. I'm not saying that you shouldn't love your Point , Shoot , Explode....But realize it ain't a Hoyt, Mathews, or Bowtech. If it doesn't wear one of those names it is not a top flight bow, it's an average one at best. Sorry, that's the facts.

  • @GLOCKCOPG23 FYI dude, i dont even own a PSE bow. I shoot bowtechs and hoyts. But the reason i will never shoot a mathews, is the statement you just made. The ignorant assumtion that youre better than a PSE shooter cause you have a mathews. I guarantee that I could take just a random ol PSE and beat you with you mathews in a 20 yard indoor game. Real Talk. Bottom Line. Talk all you want, but you put ANY bow in a good shooters hand, and he'll beat you.

  • Comment removed

  • @GLOCKCOPG23 You hate PSE cause they knocked mathews in one commercial. You dont think mathews would do the same thing? "catch us if you can". And exactly what limb issues are you talking about? ive worked on alot of PSEs and in all honestly, seen more switchback XTs come back with limb warranty claims. I know mathews fixed the issue, but still...

Oh, and BTW, ive got my plane ticket... to Vegas Feb. 19. Ill have my ugly hoyt in hand.

  • @jayball2003 There is this sound like stepping on dry leaves and then "POW!". That problem. It happens alot. PSE is garbage IMO. I have worked on more than a few too. "Catch us if you can" hardly targets one company in a smear campaign. PSE repeatedly does it. I happen to like Hoyt bows alot. Good choice. I don't live in Vegas so what's your point. Oh, you're a "show girl". I get it now. Hey, everybody needs a job. Good for you. I'm just joking. Hands up and Back away from the bow Now! :).

  • @jayball2003 Lastly, what "ignorant assumption" did I make where I suggested I was better than a PSE shooter? Please site your claim. I openy expressed dislike and mistrust of PSE but that was all I said. I have in my last post taken you up on your challenge but I said nothing before as such. Once again, get your facts straight. You have a bad habit of that. Let me know if you want my address so you can honor your challenge. If not, have a nice life. Get real, Get Mathews. Later cluck cluck.

  • This glock guy has been making these comments all over youtube he is a real p.o.s Prob is in his moms with no lifeat all other Than get on youtube to stir up, offend other people Im not a mathews fan but I have nothing disrespectfull toward them unlike this guy.. dont like mathews or hoyt but I have anofe respect to leave it at that without making rude comments I mean come on dude get off your moms tit and get a life.

  • @whitetailfreak79wv Free country. Gonna say what I want about whatever I want. Get over Mr. Tender. I'm too rude for your taste? Hows this? F*ck Off! Do you want my address too? It's not at my mom's, you douche bag. If what I wright on the net bothers you that much, you are the one who needs a life (and a dick flavored pacifier). You are pissed cause you too probably own a POS PSE bow. Buy a real bow. Get off some green and shut up cry baby. Also learn grammar. F*ck you very much and good night.

  • Yea I see your going to say what you want over the computer but in the real world the attitude you have toward people and life in general will never work. I own a bowtech and a pse both great bows. I dont need your address I wouldnt waist my time on someone such as yourself acting the way you do im sure you will get whats in store for you.

  • @whitetailfreak79wv Ooooooooooo! I'm gonna get what's in store for me. Shiver, shiver. I'm so sorry "real world"....What ever! PSE still sucks. Lose the the pse before it blows up and injures your d*ck sucker. At least you made one good choice with your Bowtech. Later Mr. Tender Feelings.

  • GLOCK, you need English grammar classes yourself pal. Example from your own post: WRITE not WRIGHT bro. I have a suggestion, there is a good post-Valentine`s Day sale at Walmart on Hooked on Phonics. Good luck:))

  • Don't get angry with me over one typo. You should redirect your anger at yourself. You should have known better than to buy a piece of shit bow but you didn't. Your problem is obvious. Now that you have learned all these wonderful things about your "Pretty Shitty Equipment", you have developed buyer's remorse. You can fix that problem by selling that piece of crap to another dumb ass and then go buy a real bow. See, It's really simple... even for you. A bowl of sour grapes is hard to eat. Later.

  • @GLOCKCOPG23 Well just bought a new Z7 extreme, had to send it in already, my finish had air bubbles in it. And my limbs has no camo on the underside of the limb. There were spots missing. So Mathews Quality is not all its cracked up to be. Sorry!!

  • @shawner3473 Hey, everybody lets a lemmon slip by every now and then. No dispute there but PSE puts out nothing but lemmons for the "bow challenged" people out there that don't know the difference between a "good bow" and a "POS" ekheeem (clear throat), I mean "PSE". You can't blanket a company because of one lemmon. You judge a company on the consistancy of their products. Be it good or bad. Nobody believes that Mathews puts out a second rate product but mishaps happen. Hello, McFly!

  • @shawner3473 get it in store wont have to worry about that

  • @2010camaroking It was purchased from a reputable dealer, didnt see it till I got it home, and really looked it over, makes me think. Probably buy the new dream season evo, I shot one the otherday, Awsome bow, pses technology seems to far past everybody elses, from their patented limbs, limb pockets, riser design, and cam design.Anybody want a z7 boat anchor.

  • @shawner3473 Oh my bad, pses they are nice bows but they are louder then a mathews and they compare there omen to the z7 and the omen is a double cam bow it would only be fare if they would do put it against the monster

  • @jayball2003 and GLOCKCOP23. Both of you sound like you need to meet and have a beer. When I decided to buy a new bow I tested most bows. I wanted a speed bow that wasnt hard on me. Thats when I found the Martin FireCat. I think if some one wants to get into archery they have to shoot each bow to see wich one fits them the best. Wish I could meet the two of you in vagis for some good times lol.

  • Vegas!!!

  • @badger561 Remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. LOL!

  • @K2bye Theyre so slow, that wont be a problem.

  • @K2bye haha i like how you copied Hoyt's moddo Its "Get serious. Get Hoyt

  • @K2bye haha i like how you copied Hoyt's moddo Its "Get serious. Get Hoyt"

  • @K2bye

Them Slowlocams cant compare to a Darton

  • GET SERIOUS GET HOYT

  • you all talk alot of shit. the truth is Chuck Adams shoot Hoyt and has all the world game records. I shoot hoyt and love their bows. I also have a Oneida and its a better bow then your pse bowtec mathews. shoot what you like, and let others like what they want. You all run your mouths because of the jelly on your face.

  • I've shot the Mathews monster, the Hoyt alpha max, and the pse x-force and omen, imo pse blew everyone out of the water thier just imo a whole new lvl of bow. i actually bought a 2009 x-force yesterday best bow i've ever shot.

  • how about using a meter to measure the dbi level? do a penetration and speed test as well.....?

  • just a matter of my opinion i shoot mathews i have shot hoyt in the past and switched to mathews due to the forgivness and quietness of the bow they produce i personally own 2 dxt's 1 for 3d shoot and one for hunting and have recently purchased a a rezzon which i adore .... but one think most people seem to forget a bow is only as good as the hands in lies in no matter who makes it

  • in order from quietest to loudest: Bowtech, Switchback, Drenalin, PSE

  • i agree 100%

  • We dont have a Mathews dealer in Kansas.

But I shot Bowtech, PSE, Kodiak, Bear. and the best was bowtech and Kodiak.

The PSE doesn't have enough performance, hard curve, LOUD.

Kodiak is heavy but the best speed and most punch. Bowtech was the quietest most balanced, nice curve and the most accurate.

    I now own a Bowtech.

  • Comment removed

  • Hoyt will not develope a bow like the Monster or the PSE Omen! The alpha Max is one of the top bows on the market and is the lightest and the most forgiving bow.

  • I strongly disagree I shoot a 80lb x-force hf I was shooting right next to a guy shooting aphlamax , it was loud and he was not shooting groups near as good as mine, he wanted to shoot mine so we demode each others bows his alphamax is heavier than my x-force, he actually admitted he liked my bow better ,other than it was to hard for him to pull back hoyt bows are over rated

  • If I had to say, after 25 years of bowhunting/target shooting which bow was the most accurate I've ever shot it would be Hoyt hands down. Not even a doubt or question. Now, I say that, but should also admit that I've been shooting Mathews bows since 2000. They are accurate, but moreso QUIET. In case you are wondering, a deer doesn't know the difference in a Hoyt delivered arrow to the center of the heart, or a Mathews arrow just barely off center. Noise, or lack of, in the Mathews won me over.

  • I've shot da switchback and lx. their both the smoothest, easiest, and comfortable bow..'til i shot da x force.hands down speed, quiestest easy shooting bow. my brother still shoots his switchback, and i smoke him. his pins is 30 - 90 yds. he has da seven deadly pins. my pins are 40 - 80..and i only have 5 pins..first pin is 0 - 40 yds.We live in hawaii so da normal shot average is 40 - 60 yds. his bow doesnt always have a pass thru at 40 yds..my always has a pass thru even at 60 yds.

  • swithback was the quietest, and Im not sure about the loudest, but i think its close beetween the drenaling, and bowtech

  • ive shoot a pse X force and a 82 airborn and i like the 82 airborn alot i have an alegence from bowtech that i really like to shoot 3D archary wich one would be better and i am in the juner leage becaus im only 14 but i can pull 70 pounds comferatable so let me know ur honest opinipn

  • Don't take this the wrong way, I understand yer comfort level at 70lbs, but from a coaching perspective, I don't recommend shooting more than 50lbs at yer age. The damage yer doing to the growth plates in your bow shoulder is immense. I speak from personal experience on that point. Just something to consider if you like shooting and want to continue to shoot for a number of years!!

  • i'm a firm believer in the switchback xt,it is buy far the quietist most smoothest bow i've ever shot

  • pse was the loudest

I have to say the 82nd was the quietist

  • He did not test one in this video, but I own a GT500 made by Elite Archery and it is hands down the quietest bow I have ever shot. I shoot a lot and also quite a few tournaments and I` get comments on how quiet and fast it is all the time. All of the top manufacturers make great bows these days.

  • the bowtech 82

  • To everyone reading this If your gonna buy a bow, buy Hoyt their the best of the best. It may cost a little more but you'll love it and won't regraded. Your stuffed is only as good as what you pay for. I have been hunting and target shooting for over 10 yrs and I own 9 bow, 5hoyt, 2matthews, 1bowtech, and I just bought the new hoyt ALPHAMAX 32 this year and I love it. don't lesson to any bow advertised about their bows the best, go to a bow dealer and test all of them first before you buy it.

  • a couple of my buddies have hoyt and i let them shoot my mathews swicthback xt they threw their bows away and got mathews the following week

    ~catch us if you can!~

  • Whats a dry fire? I'm guessing it's shooting the bow with now arrow ready? I'm new to archery and havn't got my termenology down:P

  • I agreed with you. Hoyt is the best bow out there. I have a vectrix and my younger brother went hunting with my uncle and he 's new at bowhunting so he didn't know he dryfire my bow over a dozen time while he was hunting. I didn't know that until he did it in front of me. Man, I was worry my cam might get fuck up. so I took it to the store to check it out and they told me it find there's nothing wrong with my cam. man that fucking awesome. Love my hoyt.

  • do the 3 shot dryfire test. Only Hoyt will survive. Most will be junk after the 1st shot. Hoyt can take 100's of dryfires without a hiccup

  • seemed like the switchback was the quietest to me. I know you didnt ask, but another hoyt fan here, The can.5 system is one of the smoothest ones ive drawn, good letoff. My buddy said he cant even see me go into the letof cause it so smooth. If your for speed check out the warthog(martin)

  • i would say the bowtech but mathews and pse are really good to but thats just my opinion

  • i say my martin is the best but that is my opinion

  • mathews adrenalin is the quietest out of them

  • shot most of these bows and bought the 08 diamond justice over all the others, very quiet, smooth draw and good ibo speed at 307 tested on mine, though my next bow is going to be the mathews monster- 350 plus ibo speeds- nasty!!

  • NONE!!! Hoyt all the way but that is my opinion

  • matthews, pse, and bt... which is quietest and you say none Not making much sense there man! Hoyt owners are retards

  • Hey, I shot all of these and more before I bought my Hoyt and the Hoyt was the smoothest shooting and the quietest bow I shot, In this video I would say it is the switchback or the dream season, however NONE!!! are as quiet as my hoyt was when I shot all the bows

  • his vid was not about hoyt... he was asking which was the quietest of the bows he shot.... we get it, u like hoyt, now go lick a window

  • Mathews all the way can you tell the speed difference in the video?

  • every bow sucks exept the drenelan because its a mathews

  • SWITCHBACK XT is the best bow that mathews has put out in my opinion

  • Can you take away the arrow noise?

I believe it was Field and Strem that said the Bowtech Guardian was recorded with a decibel meter as the quietest.I Make an arrow that is silent and you'll have a winner in my book

I want my bow in order

    Quiet

    Accurate

    Fast

  • Why was there a quiver on the Drenalin? That made extra noise.

  • In my opinion silent handling is more important than speed, most of the targets have to be at close range anyways.

  • The switchback is clearly the most silent, and idk why ppl try to hate on mathews just because theyre at the top.. i dont even have one but u cant beat the simplicity of a solocam at near dual cam speed ( although the new reezen is faster that 99% of the bows out there)

  • IB ow tech all the way

  • xforce. easy. matthews suck anyway. bowtech is alright. but pse has the best bows by a long shot

  • yea, your crazy matthews ia top of the line

  • The four top manufacturers (Bowtech, Mathews, PSE and Hoyt) are so close they basically cancel each other out in terms of speed accuracy, and noise level. But we understand, you need to feel your bow is superior because you spent SO MUCH MONEY on it. Sorry.

  • um know i dont have a bowtech i just think its more quiet in this video

  • pse is a high value bow maker

  • switchback xt

  • 2nd one is the most silent

  • i'd say the 2nd one was the most silent :O

  • bow #4

  • Pretty tough to get a good comparison shooting inside, especcially right next to a wall.

But anyways the first one sounded like a damn 12 gauge compared to the others

  • the switchback or xforce

  • I'll take the Bowtech by a long shot.

  • Can't go wrong with Mathews!

  • Now a days they are all very efficient and hi-tech. Be glad you aren't still shooting using your fingers....It could be worse!!!

  • its just to show people who wondered witch was louder is you start missing game because of your bow you should 1 move closer and 2 use sound suppretion devices insead of bitching about who makes the best bow

  • I am so sick of Mathew's nazis. Look, I have been shopping around for a new bow for the past 2 months. I have fired PSE (almost all of the X-forces), the entire Bowtech 2009 lineup, Everything the Mathew's shop had, Bear, and all the goodies at cabelas. In saying this, I actually like the Bowtechs and the X-force dream season more than any of the Mathew's. I am not being Bias, I shoot a Pearson. I was not impressed by Mathew's. So get off your mathew's trips, they aren't the best.

  • I agree 100% Bowtechs draw is smooth as silk and the release is quiet. I owned a Mathews DXT and was not impressed I traded it straight accross for a Diamond Black Ice

  • I have to tell you something, the black Ice shoots better than the Marquis. I shot the marquis on christmas eve when I went up to bass pro and it was one of the most unforgiving bows I have ever shot. That was the 2008 model. They had an 09 Black Ice and I fired it and loved it. If I don't go to a straight bowtech, I will probably buy the ICE.

  • my dad can beat up your dad!

mathews, hoyt, PSE. Who cares about opinions, choose the one that fits and feels best to YOU. All of todays bows are great.

  • i set up my db meter in front of the computer speaker and played your video at a medium sound level based on my results the Dream season bow scored at 71db, the 82nd airborn was 72db, the Drenalin was 73db and the switchback XT was 73db. with todays technology, string silencers and noise dampners it is VERY easy to quiet a bow down, you loose a few fps but so what, a quiet bow keeps game from string jumping!

  • It's funny how the dream season and the 82nd are firing about 30 fps faster than the mathew's bows and they are still about as quite or beating mathews.

  • switchback xt won I have one and can vouch for this but wht is there two mathews in this comparisn? Its like comparing a mercury to a ford

  • I think your answer to which bow is quietest is in big black letters to your right....I had a mathews drenaline and the limb shattered during a practice session. Piece of crap if you ask me. I've had my Hoyt for a while now and the quality is much better and its all around a better built bow.

  • number 2 by far

  • Not a very useful video at all. The receiver needs to be as close to the point of relaease, like within inches, and not 10+ feet to be a useful reading.

  • how? a deer isnt going to be within inches of the bow

  • This is true...a LIVE deer won't be within inches of the bow, but its ability to hear far exceeds ours. The decibel range that a deer can hear is much broader than ours. A quite bow to our ears can still be heard by a deer.

  • i shoot a matthews because i dont like to hoyt deers i like to kill them lol hoyt sux ya the do a lil better on a chrono but this aint an airsoft fight lol 5 fps doesnt mean anything go shoot a dxt and all you hoyt boys will see wats up

  • i have an hoyt intec, and have set it up to be very very quiet

  • First of all these bows could have been shot on different settings like draw weight and arrows one even had a quiver on it...go shot them all for yourself. Thas the real ticket. And my ticket out of all them is the bowtech.

  • Notice on the switchback you dont hear the boyou hear the arrow hit the target God I Love A Mathews I wouldnt gettade my Xt in for nothing

  • i dont like hoyt very much

im am a huge matthews and pse fan and they are just amazing

  • u cant really tell from the video casue it make them louder than they really are i have a mathews dxt and love it

  • If you ask me the quietest bow is either the DXT or the 82nd Airborne but why did he shoot 2 Mathews bows Why didn't he shoot a Hoyt so that he could highlight the top bows on the market

  • whys the drenalin have a quiver when thew others are plain

  • those things are loud as crap, the only thing you hear on my hoyt katera xl is the arrow rocking the deer target

  • my hoyt vectrix plus is very quit

  • the 82 airbounre sounded the quietest to me

  • 82nd airborne by bowtech blows these out of the water

  • your 82nd airborne is a big pos. get an X-Force.

  • I'm with tanner6159, I'm a long time Mathews fan, but just shot the General for the first time today, and was BLOWN AWAY. It was absolutely the smoothest and quietest thing I've ever shot.

Post another video with the Drenalin DXT and the Bowtech General

  • that general is really bulky at least for me it's not my kind of bow i want lite and small so i got the dxt and i love it

  • dude bow tech is and allways will be the best!
