She has much more experience than any candidate except for all of the remaining major candidates. Both Obama and McCain have longer tenures in elected office. Clinton has been in the Senate since 2001. Obama has been in elected office for 11 years. First Lady is not an elected office, not even really an official post. And if experience were the most important factor, the Democratic nominee would have been Joe Biden or Bill Richardson.
