He actually looks good for his age even though there is much more of him! Too bad his voice took the early retirement option. Maybe it wouldn't be so painful to watch if he could lip sync to his old songs.
man, he must have sung this song a thousand times...it shows, but he's still loved. Like Elvis...pretty crap but at least you get to see them perform. He still gives the people what they want. nice
I have seen Once Before I Go In Las Vegas several times and have had the privilege of meeting Mr. Newton several times - the man puts on an amazing show and I do not have any problems listening to him and watching him over and over again
I would see him again if he came around. I was very entertained by his whole act. He is indeed a very nice man as well. He graciously signed and personalized a picture for me. He is a "class act".
It happens quite often. Singers keep going way past their prime. There's no denying what a great performer Wayne was. There's also no comparison to then and now. He IS past his prime. The awful plastic surgery has not helped either.
I can't believe these brutal and mean spirited comments - the man is a legend - what have you done with your life? How many people have you helped and entertained over the years? Wayne is one of the most caring and nicest people that I have met and he puts on a damn good show and I always leave wanting more.
My brother and I took our Mother to see Wayne as a Mothers Day gift. I was a little surprised that his voice was a little weak. However, he still managed to entertain the crowd very well. Never would have thought this guy could entertain me and I never would have attended his show if it were not for Mothers Day but I would actually see him again if there were an opportunity.
He's gotten pretty "puffy" and as far as the voice goes...I really don't know. It's kinda hard to watch, but he really tries hard and still puts on a great show. I give him credit for that...he's tryin'
his voice has been like this for the past few years he doesn't understand to quit, before the reputation goes.

Great performer, to be sure. But that bit at 1:39 with him swinging his fat behind at the crowd, was that really necessary? :(

Mr. Las Vegas. Well he's older now, so the weight is from old age. And the voice, it hurts to listen.
