Anyone know why the postal service won't ship anything liquid? It seems like a stupid rule. I can understand if it's some gigantic one liter bottle that could spill all over and wreck stuff, but 5ml? Come on. They should at least have a volume limit. Anyways -- yeah...I usually print my label out online and just drop it off at the post office all ready to go. Do *not* go to the post office and put fragrance in a box on the counter in front of them, because like JR said they won't ship it.

thanks for the vid. i know about the places online to get the supplies, but if you need an atomizer right away, Nordstroms has a 15ml travel size with different color finishes for $5 plus tax.

Hello,is there any place I can get a inexpensive travel atomizer for when I wan't to decant a cologne?? The ones I have seen on the internet like amazon cost's any range of price of $4.00 to $11.00 per piece and I have around 17 bottles of cologne and that would cost quite a bit if I were to buy that many small atomizer's for decanting of my cologne.

hey do u advise mixing colognes? i have a 1oz bottle and put 3 different colognes in it and mixed them. i used mostly DKNY Be Delicious mixed with Intuition by Estee Lauder and a lil bit of L'eau D'Issey. theyre all summer scents.

i'll tell u how well my concoction turned out.

You can get little funnels too that would make it a lot easier to spray into even the smallest of vials. Less chance of a wasted spray if your hand accidentally slips or whatever.

Here is another more expensive alternative: search "Travalo Atomizer" on youtube to see a video. "Luckyscent . com" also sells them. I would recommend using this for the creeds as exposing them to air is not very good.

thats very true, but these atomizers are actually air tight, they have some sort of foam in the edge that locks air out.

the reason you dont to tell the post office fragrances are in the package is because they are considered flammable. just tell them theyre cosmetics and youll be good.

Wow, this is EXTREMELY helpful video -- helped me a ton since I was actually thinking of buying me a few atomizers (I also sell fragrances.. so that info on shipping frags was a nifty tip). Just so much info!

Though I'm just wondering, how good do the white plastic atomizers spray compared to the blue one you used to demo the spray?

I always hate the way the sample fragrances spray, lol but I guess its because they are 'samples' after all.

spray hard and fast, and the white ones

spray just a little less that the blue cap

ones. White cap are glass, blue cap

are plastic.

Much safer than swapping an entire bottle. I get my decanting equipment from the website Specialty Bottle. The 4 oz atomizer is only 48¢.

From the decants I got, I started to tape up the part where the atomizer meets the vial just to prevent it from leaking as a safety measure.

Accessories for Fragrances is a real cool vendor. She (I think it's a she?) gives you some extras like extra atomizers. I bought some 5ml and she threw in a 2.5 and a 3. The first time I purchased, I got an extra one too AND a smiley face button. LOL.
