Eurovision 1979 - Elpida - Sokrati

Elpida was the winner of the XVI version of Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar, in 1975. This song contest/music festival is held every year in Viña del Mar, a beautiful city right next to Valparaíso. Over the years, this festival became one of the most important of its kind in Latin America. Elpida's song was "Love Song" (Pos, Pes Mou Pos) and you can watch it here on Youtube under the entry " Ganador Viña - 1975 ".

@lemonnis ε, ναι τοτε δε διναμε λεφτα να προμοταρουμε το τραγουδι μας και ουτε τυγχανει να ειμαστε απο το Ισραηλ. Αν διναμε φραγκα ή ημασταν "εβραιοι" θα μας συμαπαθουσαν με τα χιλια. Εδω και το χειροκροτημα ηταν χλιαρο. Τελοσπαντων. Για μενα η γιουροβιζιον και τωρα και τοτε ειναι "πιασμαν". Δεν ειναι αμεροληπτος διαγωνισμος. Ιδιαιτερα τοτε που ηταν μονο οι επιτροπες ψηφιζαν καθαρα με πολιτικα κριτήρια. Αυτα ειδαν οι Ιταλοι και την ψώνισαν και δεν ξαναστειλαν τραγουδι.

@Furienna dear furienna.... kitchy???!!!!! this opinion is not from someone that knows about music and of course about festival music!! this awesome song deserves a better place and thats for sure!!!! everybody knows that the criteria in eurovision are not musicaly but clearly politicaly...and especially these days!! thats why italy was not participate in this competition for many years!!!
