Thanks for taking the time to share videos of your son playing. My 7 year old who is just taking up tennis finds it very inspirational. I'd like to see what other drills you do with your son to improve his game.
ok you're kid's good, especially at his age. If he keeps it up he'll probably be a great player some day. But seriously, posting his videos on youtube so you can brag about him..... a little immature. If he's that great you wouldn't need to show him off.
not posting videos to brag but for 2 reasons. 1. so his grand parents can keep up with what he does because they live in a different country and 2. to show that even a kid with attention deficit and learning difficulties can achieve if they put their mind and dedication into it. nobody in our family is expecting anything other than fitness and fun from Marco's tennis - anything else in life is a bonus, if it helps him get a college scholarship then great
yes frequently... watch the clip and you will see he does... he will only use a crossover or a double cross over if he is out wide and needs a quick recovery...
great dobule handed back hand for his age, good technique follows all the way through with the shot and the way he generates power using the whole of his body is also very good. Definately has potential to be a tour player but keep him grounded lot of hard work ahead. Plus foot work is brilliant great leg speed.
LOL...focus on the feet in this one...better footwork..but these internet freaks take it too far analyzing a 7 year olds feet..just have fun with your kid..he's doing great.
he does have fun - that is the most important thing from our perspective, however, the key age to teach a child is 6-10 years old. his coach wanted him to see how his feet move so he can explain what is right and what is wrong...
