On GT5 theres no cockpit veiw on 800 of the cars,

I think GT5 is better looking, cockpit, colors, shadows, etc.. BUT I do not think it will be a more realistic drive then Forza 3. Most of the vids I've seen look easy to drive and that shouldn't be the case. You should search for grip and correct when you're going to fast. Besides the SLS AMG is very heavy, it should also handle sluggish. To me it looks unrealisticly easy to drive. No thumbs down please, just my opinion on things. I haven't played it yet.

They have said features about day and night cycles...and weather changes during game play.....Gran Turismo is going to be on the video game of all time throne when it is released......

Even the prolouge not 1 car is the same...ive tested it with the evo 9 and 10...i hope they come out with a collectors edition gt5

On consoles, currently, I think Forza 3 is the definitive racing game CURRENTLY. The few places where can can see if it is a true sim is by simracingtv. They said physics are great for a console game. But no doubt GT5 will also blow everyone away when it is released. But nevertheless both will be amazing racing games for different people.

I got forza 3, and I must admit that forza isn't beating GT5. I was kind of dissapointed. Not much different to Forza 2. But oh well, Forza 3 is still a nice game.. But obviously overhyped.

yeah, its true.. Sorry if i seemed to be a gt fanboy.. I'm not.. Im just a racing fan, and the best game will catch my attention. though, i've seen the tokyo game show footage from GT5, and it looks stunning, and I know now that GT5:Prologue is more "realistic" than Forza 3. I cannot describe how, cause of the low letter counts in this comment box :( But i have an idea that a game which have been in development for about 6 years, will beat a game made in 2 years.. follow my point? :)

i couldn't disagree with yo more. In every single way forza 3 is better and more refined than forza 2. Forza 2 was a great game but in comparison with forza 3 its a bag of shite. i cant stop playing FM3 its sooooooooooo good !!! the graphics are a lot better than screenshots and trailers would lead you to believe. Online is the BEST. no question. I am not saying gran turismo will be bad, with those graphics it cant be, but it will have to be very special to beat forza

nah.. graphically, it havent improved that much. The physics are really cool, but.. who says which game is more realistic? I mean, I never drove a corvette, or ferrari, so how can i tell? I just love racing games, and im already level 20 in forza 3 :P Where's the video editor tool? I've been looking for it, but with no luck. :(

GT5 will be special.. we will have pit crew changing tires, fuel and so on.. rain effects, day/night cycle. I mean, imagine Le Man with day/night cycle, 16 cars driving, and perhaps some rain, so that you have to change strategy with the tire setup and all.. I havent seen any of this in forza 3.. By the way, I havent seen pit crew in forza 3.. I thought they announced that ? :(

They haven't said anything about rain or day/night cycle in GT5. So I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

hhmmm with every new GT it just seems like they make it prettier and add more cars. The physics in GT4 and 5 prologue felt very similar. Sorry its just the truth. FM2 has better physics if im honest, let alone FM3. well thats a few thumbs down for me :P dont give a shit the more thums down the more people agree with me but dont want to admit it :D great grgaphics though

Yeah, but who knows. We can only tell until both are released. But since I only have an Xbox, I preordered the limited edition of Forza 3. and I just got the Xbox 360 racing wheel (my mom would never get me the fanatec wheel, lolz)

I pre ordered the same edition. I would be careful of that M$ wheel, its pretty cheaply made. They are known to break easy cause of the springs inside.

GT5 is different. They started from scratch and made a new driving physics system. And they also added damage. So this game will be very different from gt5 prologue and the previous gt games.

Well the physics aren't the most important but I see what you mean. This is what GT has always done. The graphics are amazing, tons of cars and tracks and content, and the physics have been good but not as good as they could be. In my opinion gt4 was the best in the series, but GT5 will be a 1,000 times better.

But trust me the physics are much better. They threw away the old code and started a bran new physics engine.

I just played both FM3 and GT5. GT5 stunning graphics but its quite far from a simulator if FM sets the benchmark. The way in which the cars turn is a little strange along with their complimentary animations. I got my hands on FM3 through a friend of a friend who works in gaming business(writes reviews)and WOW! The level to which you can customize a car is absolutely amazing! The graphics are really well done and in car view is better than the demo(what looks like more textures). FM3 5/5 GT5 4/5

The full game is free if you bought Prologue correct? Is there a release date yet? The graphics are gorgeous, but why are all the trees identical at 0:32 ? Takes away from the immersion a little..
