I don't understand the fear over this alleged 'eugenics'. Private health insurance companies routinely deny coverage and (worse) deny claims every day. They have been in the position to wield the power of life and death over many healt care consumers for decades. So if the government were to provide a public alternative, and then have to make tough decisions about services every now and again, how would that be any different from what the insurance industry does to this very day?

Regarding Saddam, during the Iraq, Iran war, The Reagan/Bush administration supplied Iraq with millions in funding and training in order to assist them in their fight.

I don't understand the fear over this alleged 'eugenics'. Private health insurance companies routinely deny coverage and (worse) deny claims every day. They have been in the position to wield the power of life and death over many healt care consumers for decades. So if the government were to provide a public alternative, and then have to make tough decisions about services every now and again, how would that be any different from what the insurance industry does to this very day?

Also, why do some conservatives (I assume you are conservative, apologies if you are not) consider Glenn Beck to be a wolf in sheep's clothing? I thought conservatives loved Glenn Beck.
