  • i am going to get a hyde harrier for my first big bike it will be a blast

it reminds me of a classic racing triumph trident for some reason

  • damn this guy he shows no emotion at all fuck him and his attitude...what a fucking loser, who gives a shit, huh :P

  • The analog speedo wrecks the look, apart from that yeh i would have one.

  • my step dad has like 15 nortons in his shed haha.

  • with these modified bikes. does the engine survive for long term use being only air cooled??

  • @tribulation138 The majority of Ducatis are air cooled, and they hold up just great.

  • hyde harrier all day

  • He says, @1:47, Norton "is all British"... While there's a Brembo/Öhlins picture... :-)

  • I love British bikes, but that was the crappiest review I've ever seen.

  • that norton is damn sexy!

  • "When men were men"? What kind of role model does this idiot think he is? Seriously, you're trying to hard man, it's ridiculous...

  • I've got a Thruxton. Prop it anywhere, and when you come back to it, there's some old bastard staring at it. They always ask how old it is. I tell 'em three years, and they sneer, and walk away shaking their heads. Just sayin'.

  • "when men were men". That's pretty weak.

  • More of the Harrier please.:)

  • The Norton Hyde Harrier 961 is the one for me. I might have to wait a while!

  • so.......... "WHY" do you like the Hyde Hairrer?

  • I'd want a huffy cafe racer..

  • NO none of those are real cafe racers, cafe racers are individual home built bikes not manufactured ready built models

  • Is the Thruxton available in the US? Thanks.

  • @Mark1Mach2 yes the thruxton is available in the us and i own one

  • when men were men

  • Great bikes, terrible video! Presenting was weak with no real substance to the information given. Video sound was awful.

  • All British MY ARSE!.

  • damm i like these bikes

    my personal favourites are the

ducati 1000 sport classic and this thruxton :)

  • whats the point of a thruxton over a street triple?

  • 1:46 It's all British.... as the Brembos shine in the sun, LOL. Great video, great bikes I always loved the Yamaha SR-X as well.

  • I really hope I am spelling this correctly the Hyde Harriot (the blue one) is that available in the US and if so for how much? All of these bikes look amazing. I don't understand how anyone can buy one of these new plastic and graphic covered sports bikes over these machines.

  • @Vros234 No offence, but 5 seconds typing "hyde harrier usa" into google would have answered your question.

  • BlooDy Great Video...I NEED one of Each!!! A+

  • 1:46

'What can we say about it? It's all British....', as the camera sweeps past the Brembo calipers.

  • l can't wait for commando 961 in Brazil

  • The Norton looks like a Kenny Dreer Norton.

  • Spondon frame my 4rse!

Get your facts straight Trevor before you publish to the world.

  • American here, at 1:29 i was like, "Holy S**T, look out for that bus!!" but then i remembered you guys drive on the left side :P

  • the cafe racers in the sixties, were nothing like those bikes

  • excelsior manxman

  • dont think this bloke knows what hes talking about because the norton has not got a spondon frame.....

  • Trying too hard to look like a bad boy this idiot... "When men were men"! Please...

  • I Love the british Bikes the way they sound look so kool

  • I liked the tone and style of this video...well done in that regard but jesus fellas invest in a windscreen for your microphone.

  • didnt anyone randomly search commando because of the horror perk in mw2

  • The Commando's my dream bike, but the Thruxton's my accessible dream. Cafe racers are the best!

  • your wrong the thruxton wins!!

  • i bought my beautiful 2009 thruxton brand new and have been in love with her ever since i plan on keeping her till i die!

  • @mantzelrck I feel the same way. I purchased my 1976 T140V Triumph Bonneville on January 10, 1977. Raced her on the streets of Long Island for 10 years and beat every bike she ran and we ran all of them. My Triumph has always been stock. My only mods were to remove the mufflers and seat padding, drag bars with bar end mirrors. She is sitting 10 feet from me now as I type. BTW her excellent handling saved my live many times and I have always said she is going in my coffin with me when I am dead.

  • I'll take the Triumph only because they have been in business longer than Norton and Triumph is built by Triumph..Norton is just a bunch of parts slapped together by a company that bought the "Norton" name. Its no more a Norton than the revived Indian, and it will go the way of the "revived" Indian...into the garbage can.

  • @inmate1577 It took Triumph about a decade to go from starting the company back up from nothing to having a range of bikes that are desirable to most riders. No company makes a flawless motorcycle out of the starting gates.

  • @inmate1577

Naive. You sound like an idiot.

  • I would have the Ace 904 thruston out of the three, but like joewarcupinhull said with the original analog clocks not digital.

  • Norton is definitely nice but unfortunately the price leaves buyers like me out of the brand. Good job Norton!

  • with the nortan was cheaper. jees those things are expensive.

  • sportster 1200

  • @pepitol88 you having a laugh, the sportster 1200 aint a cafe racer.

  • Norton Commando... "it's all British"? Er no, it's got Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes you f***ing bonehead.

  • Wow, is all I have to say. The Norton, and the Triumph are beautiful objects of desire.

  • Classic mismatch.....They could have at least used a Thruxton Bonnie, with maybe $8K of upgrades. Now that would have been worth the time spent.

  • @jneale828 Sounds like a good idea, in theory, but try stripping 40kg off a Thruxton and riding it away... not gonna happen. The weight savings alone would be worth the frame upgrade, that it has superior geometery & integrity is even better. I would buy a donor engine or crash damaged Bonnie to start with to help cut costs.

  • heLLLLLLLLLLL YEaUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

  • The Triumph is the one id go for personally, but id want Analog clocks instead of the digital ones.

  • @joewarcupinhull Yah no doubt why would they do that?

  • @joewarcupinhull That's kinda why I like the Norton more.....

  • @joewarcupinhull The standard version is with analog clocks. I think it's pretty better looking than the modified except the paint work. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper

  • I like the Triumph

  • I want that Norton. I've always had a hankering for a Triton or Manx Norton. This looks the biz, and you don't have to put up with shitty brakes and suspension. I'd still like e Triton Tho.....

  • Yeah well I'd go for the Norton because I owned a 650SS back in the '60s and what a bike that was. I guess brand loyalty goes a long way. The new Norton looks very well made as well, except new models always have teething problems.

Just like in the '60s the Nortons always had that bit more class than the Triumphs in my opinion.

  • @gm16v149 Hey, I currently ride a Bonneville that I love.. and the Norton gets my vote as well. I'm sure the Harrier is fantastic.. and I'm sure the 904 could be the last bike I could ever want.. but only after that super-sexy Norton.

  • @gm16v149 the gearbox problem will be sorted soon as my dad works for the company that are going to be making the new gearboxes
