@MercedesF700 Dog box and a lot of talent means you can usually upshift without a clutch. There were a couple of rev matches that weren't perfect, but pretty damn good on unsychronized tranny design from the 80s.
I love this car! The reason it only has a 5 slot gate is because it's a dogleg/reverse pattern shift gearbox, no clutch on upshift 1st is in 2nd position 2nd in 3rd pull back for 3rd gear and so on and has to be pushed as it has no reverse gear lol
Great video of a legendary car. You rarely get the sense of speed from video clips but for some reason, this video really gave me an idea of how quickly the car was traveling!
Sounds like some very stiff engine/tranny mounts. It sounds weird when going into gear, shakes, goes vrvrvrvrvroooooom. Like vibrating? Can anyone explain to me what that sound is?

@40till5 Yeh, you're probably right. Just a rich man without racing skills driving an F40, but atleast he doesnt put it in his garage and don't use it for what it was built for. Maybe it was his first go in the Ferrari, who knows :-)
Hi Jason Good Vid but an FYI . Set GoPro to SPt . Spot meter is primarily for shooting from inside of a car or other dark space looking out into a brighter outside setting. Spot meter adjusts the exposure for the absolute center of the scene, for example the road ahead instead of the interior of the car. If you are wanting optimum exposure of the inside of the car, filming mainly the driver for example, choose Cnt center weighted average to expose for the inside of the car.
@zilverzero he's using straight cut gears, maybe its the ones similar to those in Le Mans and other sports car racing, used in the GT2 class and GT3 cup cars where upshifts don't require the clutch? im not sure either
