I agree the animation is not really good, but I don't think this is a bad movie. The story is pretty good for a sequel (I mean it could have been even worse). Even the songs are quite decent.

Plus, they give more personality to Iago. He became very interesting character when he was balancing between good and evil. You at least have to give it some credit!

Yeesh. Everyone seems to hate this movie! Honestly? I'm kind of glad Disney decided to make a sequal. The spin off TV series was inspired by this movie, I believe, and in my opinion, that is one of the best Disney series in existence. So I'm not going to say this movie is all bad (After all, what would I have done without my Aladdin every morning at 7 on Toon Disney?!) however, this movie is obviously nowhere near as good as the first. Like someone said: At least they all stayed in character.

To be fair, the animation ISN'T bad. The characters' movements have more personality, more fluidity than most cartoons seen today. They're not frozen in one pose with their mouths opening and closing, they are ALIVE and ACTING. Besides, did you not see Jafar's transformation from Jasmine into himself? That was cool. The original was no doubt better, but that was down to more time and money, with a goal for the big screen. For the small screen, this is hardly 'crappy'.
