After Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, Godfather 1-2, La Haine and Cidade de Deus, its my favorite gangster movie. Better than Lock,Stock2smokings barrels, carlito's way, donnie brasco, white heat, dead man shoes, american x history, Gomorra, reservoir dogs etc etc... Really liked those three movies and I,m a big buff of gangster/organized crime movies.
Good luck to find them. Almost impossible. I found Pusher 1 soundtrack CD in Denmark. Try to get this cd in a danish record shop somewhere on internet ;)
Pusher 2 had the best intro. I think pusher 1 was the best overall. I think it would also be pretty fuckin sick if Refn made a fourth with all three of them in it or something.

Milo is the man on top, The boss it just shows you how its a little easier for him to get out out of the most extreme circumstances and situations since he has the most connections, most cash and his own crew. Pusher 3 was alright but it wasnt as exciting as the first and second since this character only weakness was drugs... he seems to be the most balanced character out of the trilogy... since he still upholds most of his dignity and honor.
thats such a unique opening to start out movie, captures you right away, I just love it... One of the best crime movies I have ever seen.
My favorie is the first one since it follows the most common character frank who is just a drug dealer doing his thing and gets caught up in some shit anybody can imagine how that can be and it is the most easy to relate to and makes you feel for him. Pusher 2 was funny and emotional but Tonny is a dumbass and not everybody can relate to him still good movie
Pusher are the best movies about and with drugs, it really shows what can happen, and it's not unreal for it to go that way for those involved in drugs and shit.. stay out of drugs..!!!
J'avoue que j'ai du mal à associer le style de Winding Refn à ses références américaines, je suis d'accord qu'il y ait eu influence, mais de film en film il s'affirme comme parfaitement original, selon moi. Et Greta Garbo. : )

Refn is unknown in the US, but really deserves to be... Pusher Trilogy seemed go go straight to DVD in the US, yet it was head-and-shoulders above the rest of the bilge in 2006.
"a fresh raw European Scorsese..."? Not really. Even Scorsese is a movie God, Refn is an original creator. He has influences, yes (who does not?!) BUT this director is the best director-creator in movies today!
I wonder if one of the prerequisites to getting cast in these movies was to have sunken eyes to make these intros work. :P
