Wow, there was never a cobra there when I was on Oahu. I was a marine stationed there from Nov '86 to Mar '89. I was a huey/ cobra mechanic. HMH-463 Kaneohe Bay and later Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor. I loved Hawaii, nice people unless you are white, then you are not welcome unless you are a tourist with lots of money to spend.
Lots of new stuff in the Ft Derussey museum, much expanded. I still have a couple pieces of a shot down zero from up on stairway to heaven, a gauge and a piece of alum.
