I learned German at school and I heard the "Sock" part was what @DasMotteninsekt said but the "e" part was almost like a "u" sound: the sound of the "u" in the word "um"

I could be wrong but that's what my German teacher said that was a native speaker

Protoss has an advantage in the late-game... if Terran is too dumb to go past Tier 1. Vikings HARD COUNTER Colossi. Ghosts HARD COUNTER HTs, not to mention wreck Protoss units overall. Raven PDD nullifies Stalkers trying to kill the Vikings killing the Colossi. Terran players need to learn how to use their tech units. They have the advantage not just early and midgame, but late-game as well. But if they go MMM all day long while picking their noses, of course they should get beat by Tier 3.

His name is Socke (sock). It is German and Crota is pronouncing it wrong. It is pronounced similar to the English sock, except you have an 'e' at the end which you pronounce like the 'e' in end.

However, that does not sound very german to me... If the pronounciation was german, shouldn't the s be much rounder/softer (don't know how to explain it exactly) than s in the english word sock? Also, shouldn't the e be pronounced like a short 'eh' -sound (like sock + (epic - pic), (by that i mean the 'e' sound from epic, but of course without the 'pic' at the end)

@difbufs Try Google translate. Select language detect and translate language into English. Language detect will detect the word as German. As for how the S is pronounced, I don't know the reason for why it is pronounced the way it is, but that's how I have been pronouncing it my whole life. The 'e' is probably more accurate with the e as in epic, that much is true.
