Elvis Presley respected Roy Hamilton a lot and once said that Roy was one of his big influences in his career.
Elvis was in shock when he learned about Roy's death. Great version of this song!

Thank you so much for posting this. Great song, covered by I believe Gerry and the Pacemakers? Anyway, did Roy Hamilton pre-date Elvis. I see so much in Elvis in his singing - or is that vice versa? Amazing voice, great rendition.
