Not a rhythm box, like drummers need who want to play the most complicated and difficult rhythms. So we have just the ambition to play what makes fun and effect.

The robot hasn't got fun, I think. It's a machine. And no ambition.

PS: If you ask your drummer to play what you need maybe he will accept your idea ;)

Robots are a combination of mechanical parts and AI, and the only thing that could go wrong with a robot drummer is the mechanical side, since very little AI would be required (no offense of course). Drum beat machines can play impossibly complex beats that'd require a hundred arms to play, but the mechanical component is eliminated here.

This is one example of drummers being replaced by machines. This is one component where machines trump humans.
