Chuck Norris has the glock 50. It's a Full auto, 500 magnum glock. And when he shoots it, it keeps shooting even when it runs out if ammo. You can't buy these anywhere cause there is only one, and Chuck Norris has it!
glocks are nice but i went springfield XDM 45 compact 3.8 acp. Great gun an alt to a glock and im my opinion looks hell of a lot better never had a prob with jaming. Please if your looking to buy
your first gun check out the xdm line of firearms.
Im looking for a first gun and when i go to common gun websites they say there are two types of 40 cal pistols so can anyone elaborate on that? And another thing if i buy a 40 cal gun can i put any 40 cal ammo through it?
I suppose it is whatever the person themselves feels most comfy with that matters here. I for one with my engineering "pork sausage fingers" would feel more at home with the full size rather than compact weapons.
@hickok45 I noticed this video was used on Democracy Now channel. In this link they start showing this clip at the 5:19 mark and is flashed on screen a few more times. I've not watched part 2 Yet. Talking about that new Glock America's Gun book.
Since I can't link a video just search:
Glock: As Giffords Exits, A Look at Gun Used in Tucson Rampage & Other Mass Shootings 1 of 2
Bought my wife the 26 in 08. not sure what I was going to get myself, but now I know . The 19 is for me. I've always been a glock fan myself. So why did I buy my wife one first???? not sure my self. but if she shots me, she shouldn't miss. lol she become quite the markman.
Question can I get the performance of the G34 in the G26 with a barrel change I've seen plenty of guns that have barrels longer then the slide, Even on the Glock site itself. I'd like to get the G26 but I'd want a mounting rail and the availability to use it as a race gun, am I asking to much? The other thing I like about about having the barrel protruding from the end of the slide, is I can port the barrel with far less fouling in the slide.
Hey hickok45. I beg you to do a video about Glock 34. I'm about to begin training and competing in IPSC and looking for a suitable 9mm. Im a relatively new shooter. I've been shooting the Glock 17 in the military and I kinda like it. After that i've been shooting .22lr pistols. I've also tried the cz75 which everyone seems to love and i can se why but i still miss the Glock 17 so i've looked at the G34 since its got a longer barrel. What do you think?
Love you video, my first Glock was the 17, still have it, now I own Glock 30sf love both of them. My next one will be in 40cal. just trying to decide which one I want, I think your video will help me in my choice. Keep your powder dry, shoot straight and be safe. Tony
Just a short question,I was wondering if it were true that the glock 18 is only for military and lawenforcement?Just for reference ,it was an R.Lee Ermey video that mentioned that.Thanks Hickok45,great videos,and the professionalism you bring to the gun range.Take care friend :)
@LEGOBIGESTFAN11 just a future FYI, never ask military or police if they have ever killed, its disrespectful and if they have, its nothing they want to talk about =)
@Towlie84 well i was in the marines and i have killed people. to say never ask if you have killed someone is disrespectful is wrong. it comes with the territory. if anyone in the military or a cop get offended than maybe they shouldn't have signed up. shit happens. im happy i killed the people i needed to kill cuz i got to come back and see my family. ill talk about it all day!!! Im not ashamed of what i did. go ahead and ask how many people. haha or how they died. I revel in it!!!
Glock 19 is probably the best all around and far as cost of rounds to shoot and handling, Accuracy is on you. I also have a 27 and I hated it till I put hi-cap mag in it.
question for ya hickok... i just bought i glock 27. And I think i was "pressured" or intimidated into that caliber. I'm a smaller guy... about 5'9 190 lbs. with smaller hands. I'm wondering what recommendations you can make to reduce the recoil on the 27. Obviously I can't return the gun and I don't have another 500 bucks to buy a 26. I have purchased the talon grips as I have heard the help a little... but beyond that do you have any pointers?
@tweedman214 I wouldn't call you a smaller guy considering I'm about your size. Pretty average. Tom Cruise is small at 5'4". Anyway, I know you asked for Hickock but you might want to look into the grip you're using. Look up Travis Haley Grip on the search bar and look at what he teaches. He's a total pro and using the grip he shows could help you quite a bit.
@tweedman214 I own a G27, when I shot it the first time I feared that I would never be able to handle it, but I quickly learned to counter the funny bite that the .40 has. Now I shoot it nearly as well as my Glock 17, just takes a little getting used to. I think you will grow accustom to it, most people can. If you cannot, consider buying a 26 barrell or trade it for a 9 mm, I would say you could trade your G27 + $75 for a G26. Sounds like this was your 1st purchase, just give it practice & time
@Scattel2z The one that suits your personal needs. If one Glock was better than all the others, everybody would buy the same one and the others wouldn't still be around. But different pistols serve different purposes, so find the one in the size and caliber you like and you'll have the best one for you.
@JuraianKnight You can put a Glock 33 barrel in a G27 changing the .40S&W to .357 sig as well as any of the other mid and full size 40/357 Lonewolf and another company I can't think of right now make aftermarket conversion barrels too so you can get 9mm barrels to drop into the .40/.357 pistols you will need 9mm mags as well and I think might have to change the recoil spring too you can also buy barrels from Lonewolf that are threaded and few other configurations
@jblcva none would be available at any price to a civilian you can own fully automatic weapons pre 1986 with the proper tax stamps and all but the G18 was not produced before 1986 with a class 2 manufacturer license or class 3 dealer license pretty sure you can buy one but don't believe you will be able to sell only pass down to heirs on a NFA form 1
I carry a Glock 17, loaded with Winchester Ranger T-series 127gr. +P+, as my concealed firearm. I've added the NY-1 trigger, and Trijicon night sights. How about you guys and gals?
@video2k007 1) You answered your own question. Slide Stop Lever.. Not called a slide release. Over time using that to send the slide home will wear on the lever and slide, till eventually it wont function properly. For max speed yes. use it.. But be prepared to replace parts in the long haul.
2) This is mostly personal pref. Some don't like that last round in there for ease of seating the mag. I personally slam em in so i full load. Hope that helped. Cheers
@video2k007 to be honest it depends on how much you shoot. 500-1000 a day / week and competitive yea itll be an issue at some point but to a competitive shooter that is not on their concern list :) to some one that doesn't shoot weekly or TONS of rounds, no i wouldn't worry about it. I don't do it personally cause its just another motor skill to have to use in a potentially high stress situation. Just grabbing the slide is much easier to me and requires no thought at all :)
I want a Glock for bear defense so I'm leaning toward the 21. The only problem is that the grip feels alittle to long in my hand. Any thoughts/recommendations?
i noticed you did not have a glock 36 which is also .45 but i dont know much about it and was wondering if you could tell me the difference between the g36 g21 and g30
Whats great is thanks to The Glock Store, and Lone Wolf Distributors you can customize the hell out of these Glocks there are even ,22, and ,50GI conversion kits.
@burnbluefox Totally agree with you. I am a huge fan of Hickok, but I just dont understand why he doesn't see the beauty of the accurate, full size 17, the glock that started it all.
Great video, it was really informative. I recently purchased a Sig P250 in .40 and I love it, I was really torn between it and a Glock, but I have to say that I am not disappointed.
It is sharper than a 9mm but I don't mind the recoil. The only downside to the 40 is the cost of the ammunition. I don't reload. When I purchased my 40cal 9mm ammo was approximately the same price per box. Now 9mm is 40-50% less for practice ammo.
10-10.95 in bulk, delivered to my door. Vs. 14.95+
I am hoping as more police agencies use the ammunition the price will drop. Maybe if we get lucky the military will pick it up *crosses fingers*.
@FPSBanana100 My Grandma used to alway make the pleasant mistke of saying 'Glockamole' rather than guac.... I always found that amuzing, though I carry a 1911. Miss you grams
@drealb26 Depends on where you find one. Usually the value on a Glock doesn't lower much, so don't expect a huge price difference unless there is something wrong with it.
Look for police trade ins. We are selling our Beretta 96Ds for $250 after migrating to the SW M&P.
Budds gun shop has 3 used glock models on sale from $439-$499. The higher priced ones come with night sights. Dealer costs would be added, how much depends a lot on the state you are in.
They are all similar. You have to figure out what you want it for, what your budget is, etc.
example-
9mm is going to be less expensive to practice with, will have mild recoil with typical practice ammo, and its a decent self defense round when loaded with +p ammunition.
The larger calibers cost more to shoot (sometimes a LOT more) and offer more power. They also have more recoil and probably have a slightly reduced mag capacity.
I have a Glock 23 and really enjoy it as a CCW Weapon. Comfortable , good to shoot and concealable. However, was thinking of the G30 for a more compact size wither greater knock down punch.. I have large to XL hands. Your thoughts on my idea? BTW- I really enjoyed your video and exceptional shooting and weapon control. My compliments.
All of those different mags and rounds on the table could get confusing. Is it possible to chamber a 9mm round into a Glock .40 or .45, would it fire, and what would happen? Thanks.
@ratchowmein Did you hear how he said "make sure I put the right bullets in the right gun here..."
Yeah the gun probably won't lock up with a larger round, and getting a good primer strike on a smaller round than your chambered for would almost be lucky, but just don't let it happen at all and your 100% safe.
@Hickok45 Hi ! I love those "cutting" Glock made on the front of their slide ! I wish you could have a slide like that on a G17 or 19... Anyway, does it have a special purpose ? Or is it just visual effect ? Greetings from France !
so what one day he decided to buy every glock on the market, he was like hey ill buy a little one to shoot animals, average size for small children and teens, then ill buy these big ass ones just incase i get attacked buy a bear or big ass steriod incredible hulk. or maybe he carries everysingle glock all at once. once he opens his jacket you see every glock pointing at you then you run. ahhh cant wait to turn 21 so i can get me a glock.
As former law enforcement, a lot of experience with glocks. I carry the 21 .45. Despite it's size, I've carried it concealed for years and more than once walked away from dangerous situations. A lot of videos promote the 17, but for my money, 9mm doesn't cut it. Larger mag size is all well and good but I'd rather stop you with 1 bullet instead of 5. The 21 carries 13 rounds, can't say enough positive things about it. If size is an issue, go with the compact 30.
This guy is so cool. I randomly come across his videos from time to time and every time I do, he shows that he can shoot a pistol as efficiently as many can with a rifle. Put him in a video game and he would get banned for hacking. XD
in his other vids he says he got it for the compound what is he refering too

All those Glocks and no 17?? Blasphemy!!!
burnbluefox 4 weeks ago 30
@burnbluefox Totally agree with you. I am a huge fan of Hickok, but I just dont understand why he doesn't see the beauty of the accurate, full size 17, the glock that started it all.

Great video, it was really informative. I recently purchased a Sig P250 in .40 and I love it, I was really torn between it and a Glock, but I have to say that I am not disappointed.

What one do you recommend for concealed carry the 27 or the 30? I'm having a real hard time deciding.
jjkdogg 1 month ago
@jjkdogg
I love my 27. I have not had a chance to shoot a 30.
coynedogg 1 month ago
@coynedogg thanks for the input ! hows the recoil with that for you ? i've heard different things.
jjkdogg 1 month ago
@jjkdogg

How much is a used G19?
drealb26 1 month ago
@drealb26 Depends on where you find one. Usually the value on a Glock doesn't lower much, so don't expect a huge price difference unless there is something wrong with it.
Legionnaire8888 1 month ago
@drealb26
Look for police trade ins. We are selling our Beretta 96Ds for $250 after migrating to the SW M&P.
Budds gun shop has 3 used glock models on sale from $439-$499. The higher priced ones come with night sights. Dealer costs would be added, how much depends a lot on the state you are in.

im new to guns, just wondering when the slide is pulled back, why does the barell look like its point upward? can someone tell me ??
bluntmanzxc 1 month ago
@bluntmanzxc Its to help with the loading process. The barrel tilts so that the bullet can be chambered easily.
Legionnaire8888 1 month ago
@bluntmanzxc
It does point upward. The barrel does not lock in place until the slide is forward. This is typical of many new semi-automatic handguns.
coynedogg 1 month ago
Which Glock would you recomend? Which Glock should I buy? I have about 12 more questions.
rogue5191 1 month ago
@rogue5191

@1themex How so?
jpwatkins08 1 month ago
@Bathory20Seven I would go with the 40 cal so you can shoot 9mm, 40cal, and 357 sig just by swapping barrels and mags

glockamole lol
MrTianak69 1 month ago
All of those different mags and rounds on the table could get confusing. Is it possible to chamber a 9mm round into a Glock .40 or .45, would it fire, and what would happen? Thanks.
ratchowmein 1 month ago
@ratchowmein Did you hear how he said "make sure I put the right bullets in the right gun here..."
Yeah the gun probably won't lock up with a larger round, and getting a good primer strike on a smaller round than your chambered for would almost be lucky, but just don't let it happen at all and your 100% safe.

@Hickok45 Hi ! I love those "cutting" Glock made on the front of their slide ! I wish you could have a slide like that on a G17 or 19... Anyway, does it have a special purpose ? Or is it just visual effect ? Greetings from France !

alexthebomb542 1 month ago

XD
