I need a very small computer such as this for writing simple documents. I only need this for vocational school. This one is interresting. I just need to know whether I´d be able to create PDF and word documents and maybe excel documents. It also need to be able to open PDF files, word files etc.

For the price the tablet is pretty nice after the firmware upgrade it can watch youtube videos and surf the web pretty decent upgrade will also improve perfomance download, unzip, sdcard, boot, thats all you can find upgrade for the m001 on google.

if you update the firmware, the lag when scrolling ends. it gets a lot faster

@leodee but there are other firmware builds that can end some of the problems.

even the wifi problem.

just download a firmware build. extract it to a folder called script and put it on an sd card. turn off the m001 and insert the sd card. turn the device on and it will install the firmware automatically. when update finishes just turn the device off and extract the sd card. turn your device on and it should now have the new build.

format the sd card before inserting it on the device again.

@leodee 57% of the Android Market is freeware. This is twice more then the Apple App store. Now we are only talking about Android Market, Which has 250.000 apps. There are around 100.000 outside from the Android Market. That's more then Apple's app store even has. Programming for Android is much easier, beceause you can develop in multiple and much better languages. The number of Android apps is growing faster then the number of Apple apps.
