I mean the command that allows you to see him.

It is annoying that you must set to none graphic in your database. When you will see you character in the other maps you must always put this command somewhere.

When my main character is in the introduction map I have to run a parallel process and NOT autorun to actually see him.

you forgot to tell them that they have to put "end event" or summit after the intro

@Otx4 You might have an autorun event active which stops the player from moving. try changing the event's trigger to "action button"

ok I've got 2 problems:

1: when i start the game, it show the whiteness for a quick second then it goes to the black srceen and texts.

2:after the intro ends, it'll keep repeating itself over and over.

I'm new to the whole rpg making software and i use vx if that helps. great video though. it help me get started :) still can anyone help? :\

@Panman14 I'm not completely sure about the whiteness because I haven't used VX that much, but it might be because an empty map in VX shows as white instead of black like in XP? Not sure.

But for the repeating, you have to turn off the event after it's done. You could do this either by using a "self switch" (dont know what its called in VX) and leading it to an empty page in that event or you can transfer the player to a new map

@mg56b k what i mean by whiteness is 0:23-0:26 when he/she makes the white tiles. ya when i hit Start game is shows that the theirs no fading out or anything it just goes to the black srceen and text. srry if u didnt understand b4 :\

as for the self switch, ya i see the switch. its called control self switch. and that worked fine. like i said im new so srry for the q's thx though. just got to get the fading down and im good. :)

@motherofgod4 You need to get a special script that allows you to integrate video files into your game. There are tons of them on hbgames.org, but as far as getting them into your game, I have no idea. i never did it before
