@crappystruth @music32744 i totally agree with you. she could not have conveyed the emotion of the song any better than she did at this performance. her crying at the end showed that she was truly coming from experience. i remember the first time i watched this on PBS, i was brought to tears. i downloaded this song when Yanni put it out as a single for a while, and i loved the song from the get-go. but to see her cry while performing it brought a whole new perspective and feel to the song.

This woman is absolutely stellar. Perhaps the greatest female performance for a single song I've ever seen. Chloe is a true superstar, and a perfect example of having remarkable technique and ability to express her emotions in her art. Her lyrics totally cut to the bone. That end portion is totally gut-wrenching. Chloe clearly knows what suffering is and is able to convey it to an audience. Just a remarkable and powerful performance, and I can't say enough great things about her.

You can't really compare the two. I listened to the Tarja lady, she's too operatic, Chole can sing pop and sound like she's not singing opera & then she can also sing opera. The Tarja women sounds Opera in every genre, she doesn't sound any different. And she's all high notes & sometimes off pitch..Chloe wins my vote. I've heard her sing different genres and it sounds like she singing a Different genre. PLUS Chloe is only 20!
