Godolphin should have definitely entered Sirocco Breeze in the Golden Shaheen instead of the Al Quoz. A much better horse on the tapeta than on the turf. Sirocco Breeze already had 2 or 3 win's at the 2010 Dubai Carnival, all on the tapeta, all over 7f. He would've been much more likely to make the frame in that race than he was trying to make it in this one. JMO.
War Artist ran a very respectable 4th in this race. But as impressive as he had looked on the Tapeta really spanking Gayego in the Al Shindagha Sprint. I think it was a mistake on the part of War Artist connection's not to run him in the G1 Golden Shaheen on the Tapeta. Instead of the Al Quoz Sprint on the turf. I think War Artist could've potentially ran even better than 4th in the Golden Shaheen. JMO.
Great run CF, poor fella he got a bit lost having to run down the middle of the course and raced a little wayward in running. But he never gave up, he's a fantastic sprinter, he'd give a great sight in the big races in the UK if he went. Lets hope they take him to Japan and HK later in the year, he'd give them something to chase again.
