Why are animals fed unnatural foods considered kosher? GMO corn fed animals are not really kosher. Giving an animal a grain that is not it's natural diet should not be kosher. The average cow fed the typical corn is 6 months away from dying of illness when it is slaughtered. How should this be kosher? We should change this.
I think making a tape about why it is not safe to drive with payis blowing in your face as you are driving is much MORE un-safe then driving with your payis blowing in your face!
Curl them and then you will not have to worry about where they go, because the weight will pull them behind you in the wind. These are the signon of a Jew, so do not complain. By means of these, Avraham Avinu can pull you out of trouble if needed.
Maybe curl them up with rollers, when behind the wheel. Only while driving, because I like the peies. They have this traditional purpose and I think they are cute, too.
Is it just me....or is there really a little guy, seated and praying, in the midst of the greenery on the side of the road? If it's just another roadside plant, maybe God is showing His approval of this video by creating this optical illusion!
At least your concerned with safety, that's good. Other relgiious Jews don't seem 2 have that problem...or don't they care? Mayb u cud cut them back a bit? Or tie them in a pony tail? Or curl them up mor tightly, (with blue - men's -- rollers), so they wudn't b so long? Or instal air-conditioning n ur car & so keep the windows up? Or maybe become a reform Ju & dress N regular clothing..including a regular haircut?
about the Payis...you could add a few beads on the bottom..like with african braids..you get a bit of aluminium foil, cover the end of your hair, loop it and then put three beads on held together with a rubber band..that will weigh them down sufficiently..i dont know if its Torah compliant though :-)
Or do the logical thing (whoch according to the sages is ok), trim them so they are just past the cheek bone! same thing with the Beard, you can trim it so that you look neat but have not violated Torah! Even shaving with an electric razor is ok as they work like scisors and according to Rashi and may others scisors are ok to use!! as much as I am Frum Logic must come into play when it comes to Torah observances as well!

"It is our duty to force all mankind to accept the seven Noahide laws, and if not—they will be killed." (Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg, Ma'ariv, October 6, 2004)
Evertonfan, you apparently know nothing of which you speak. Samson had long hair only because he was a nazirite. Once you get educated as to what that means you can send me an apology. The job of the prophets was to shew the coming of Messiah and to turn G-d's Israel to repentence in preparation for the coming Messiah. Paul was an Apostle of the Messiah Yeshua ben Yosef (Jesus Christ).
Apologize to you? HA! The fact is, you quote me Paul saying it is a shame to have long hair and I provide one example countering that. In philosophy- might want to get educated on logic- that would make your argument- in this case Paul's- void. Before you put yourself on a high pedastool, know who you are talking to.
One example was provided already. By logical deduction we call your-or Paul's- premise, false. Nice try at trying to belittle my intelligence, perhaps next time you should think twice before acting like an arrogant jerk and having the chutzpah to speak in such a manner.
Well considering Samson was a nazirite (one of the few nazirites mentioned in the Torah) and had to follow the nazirite rules amongst which was that they could not cut their hair, your example is meaningless.
How is it meaningless? Honestly, you need to take a class in rational thinking because in your words, "Once you get educated as to what that means" then you can come back and post here. Until then, we are done as you are arguing in a circle and it is becoming pathetic.
Wow, because the nazirites were a special case, only a few were nazarites and they were forbidden from cutting their hair. Everybody else was free to cut their hair if it got long enough where it become inconvenient.
Paul was an essential part of G-d's divine revelation, he helped to elucidate the details behind G-d's promise (through the prophets) that light would also be brought to the gentiles through the judean Messiah.
Shave them. Where does it read they have tp wear them like that. It's custom no doubt. A closely shed beard would do as well. Remember it'swhat is inside tha counts. You are on camera for the whole world to see. Don't give the impreesion the Othorodox are extremists.
Keep the windows closed and use the air conditioner.

its simple brother. two options, which both work really well:
Tie them behind your head or stuff them under your yammie, and pin the sides down.
