  • very Nice Looking Motor...I Built one just like it...check it out on my Profile.

  • You have no videos of it. I think you're fishing for channel views.

  • I reply back to me after 7 MONTHS????

I deleted it a lot time ago...Needless to say... like i care what you think.

  • Then delete your original comment here aswell in order to avoid further misunderstandings.

  • why is there a spark plug if its a solenoid motor?

  • It like the Titanic engine.

But i have not got any video of the Titanic reciprocating engine ...

  • aghhhhhhh

damn i have to draw somethign like this for science class tomorow.

    shit?

  • hey, where is the juice ? I mean the beef ?

  • Nice looking and running little engine. Did you wind the solenoid yourself or was it off the shelf?

  • thank you ive beenn wondering how something straight like a piston can spin something round like that wheel for years and now i know and just in time for the science fair at my school

  • thats either a SOLENOID motor, or thats fake.

  • i dont understand why it needs a piston isnt that unificient and not really the point of having an electric engine

  • is that a condenser? If so what role does it play? I have made several solenoid engines and I have a problem with heat build-up any ideas? Please let me know. thanks in advance Matt.

  • Yes it is a condenser. I put it on and the motor seams to run better. I have the Alum fins and that seams to keep the motor cooler.

  • @mattpow1 condenser stops erosion and burning of contact points by controlling back EMF>

  • Wow is this ever cool! I imagine its less efficient than a rotary electric motor, but look at the speed control you have! Excellent!

  • yeah its like a gas engine, it has a piston. duh!

  • It looks exactly like a gas engine (feed-line, spark plug), except for the fact that it is much gentler. That slow a speed simply wouldn't be that smooth with a gas engine.

  • unless it had a large flywheel, which it does.

  • solenoid motor...it sounds like a gas engine!
