times are changing erm no they' not you listen to the bbc which tells you they are but come on bit of common sense they not the bbc just lie for the corrupt government
@james7167 lol times are changing mate, I know that by the simple fact that you are commenting regarding our corrupt government. People are realising this more and more when you compared to opinions a few years ago. ;-)
ive been pulled a few times they alway's ask i emphasize the word WHEN they always say when was the last time i was in trouble with the police not have you ever if your from a council estate your classed as poor and cant protect yourself in a court with your legl ai solicitor and the polices own multi million pound lawyer and the judge on the police side aswell they can treat you the way they want
no disrespect huytontimestv but you live in cuckoo land lots f police brutality goin on around merseyside and they always get away with it they will literally knock you clean out if no one around to film once your in the back of a police car your gettin it even worse they turn their camera's off when they want to attack
@james7167 No disrespect to you mate, but I've walked the walk. In fact I had a verbal apology just the other day off a Police Inspector after I was threatened with arrest for filming and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I've lived in Huyton for 47 years, I'd never move to cuckoo land. ;-)
they have threatned to arrest people for not giving up their name...and people think nahh i cant be arsed with all that...also my mate once didnt have id they said thats a bit suspicious..he lashed out and said i find that very offensive....they back down..
If the police stop you, as you feel for no reason, you are allowed to ask why? Dont let the officer talk about house breakings in the area, as the officer is not explaining the police coded policy that led to your stop.
e.g, Police must answer, I have stopped you under Pace act section 1 of the stolen goods act.
Did you know he has just slandered and defamated you. telling you, you are a thief , this equates to civil litigation.
you fuckin divies if your own your own at 3am and you dont give your name when stopped by plod at that time they'll will literally boot your face in remember you got no proof the police are always right infront of a judge they cant do no wrong
@james7167 James, the times are changing mate, the Police cannot boot you in the face if you don't give your name and you can be on your own any time of the day or night, it's a free country.
The Police are NOT always right, they actually DO do wrong, and they will be punished. Give me your email and I will send you a list as long as your arm of Police Officers who've been caught and who've been punished.
Met Police must be telling lies on their website then, check it out, stop and search.
I think you are also mistaken about having to give your name, the met Police website must be lying there too. Under what law is not giving your name an offence.
just thought i'd ley you know that they are not required to give their station any more, plus failure to provide detail such as your name, date of birth and address when asked by a police officer is an arrestable offence.
@huytontimestv Police Reform Act 2002 Schedule 4. if you are suspected of committing an offence (a reason for stop and search in the first place) and you fail to provide your details you may be detained for obstruct police
@pcjoel999 You need to watch the video again mate, it is about SECTION 60 Stop and Search, for which you do NOT have to give your name and address as the video states. You stated that you do, which as we have now established, you were talking about being stopped when an officer has REASONABLE SUSPICION, that the person being searched has committed a crime. So in reference to Section 60 and name and address, we can conclude as the video correctly states, that you do not have to give your details.
@pcjoel999 Yes if you are supected of commiting an offence then the constable should arrest you. if not no offence has been commited by you, so don't tell them anything. Always remember you have the right to remain silent, untill you have a solicitor present.
@pcjoel999 How about when a member of the public is stopped by you. He makes a citizens arrest on you if you touch him without consent for :- Assault-- also conspiracy to pervert the course of justice if you're accusing him or her of a crime they did not commit. Then throw in unlawfull imprisionment, detaining a person against their will, and nicking your plod mate for defeating the ends of justice when he comes to your defence.
@pcjoel999 This is not true, the officers will read you your rights before he comences the search, 'the first right is to remain silent' so you don't have to tell the constable anything. Just keep your mouth shut. I have been stopped and search on a section 60 and didn't tell him anything. Ask the police officer questions, if he lies to you he is commiting an offence.
@mrdanengland Joel sounds like your average confused Policeman, who repeats what he's told by his superiors, rather than using actual LAW and acting under the Policemans oath.
